  1. There's a lightsaber piece if you haven't built yours already - or a complete lightsaber.
  2. And save before you even talk to Doton Het the first time. Save before you talk to any Pazaak-er. Buy some cards from Mebla Dule in the cantina - if you've got the desire, beat her three times playing for credits in a row to get her "lucky" card from her as well.
  3. And just what is so unattractive about the Disciple? His bad hair? His huge teeth? The way his face looks like it got caught in a turbolift door? Well?
  4. If I do Nar Shadaa first, then I need the Telos influence + the influence from helping the guy closest to the Ebon Hawk + the thugs in the central ring to Jedify him. And sometimes, I need to do the airspeeder or heal the guy with the plague, if Atton has taken any of those influencing ops upon himself.
  5. I'd like a nice little "Screw this quest" button to move the uncomplete-ables off my screen. I decided to rush through Telos this time and ended coming back because of that stupid pistol, only to find the only way to complete Samhan's stuff after you've left Telos once is to do it darkside. You can complete Grenn's bounties just fine after the fact, though - but I can't get an option to tell him about Samhan.
  6. The miner's uniform. That's it. Are you playing Xbox or PC? Because I believe people are working on mods for Bao for the PC - on the Xbox, you could use one of Stormsinger's saves (but you need an Action Replay) - he has fully upgradeable disguises. I put the Bao disguise on Bao - just to shake things up a bit! And I upgrade that. Of course, that won't help with the current game.
  7. Being a writer, even a good writer, gives him (or me, or anyone) no better insight than simply being a good reader. It certainly does not make his opinion any more valuable, despite his arrogance. And you cannot tell me someone who claims not to be "conceded" has studied the language. Fancy words have nothing to do with a good story. At all. In fact, fancy words can cause a good writer to lose their audience, if overdone. While critics seem to dislike Stephen King and Dean Koontz, for an example, those two writers both have a real gift for natural storytelling - you read them and you don't notice their words - you lose yourself in their stories. That's how it should be. As for my own writings, I'll take the opinion of an experienced and thoughtful reader over an inexperienced and over-inflated "writer" anyday. (Edited for quotes gone wild! Had to replace misplaced tags for italics. LOL!!)
  8. Hahaha. OMG - that was the most amusing thing in a litany of self-absorbed amusing things you've said on this thread. The only ego issue I've seen or had to deal with in this thread was your bloated ego. Frankly your skills as a writer may be far better than what you show on this thread, but with only this thread to go on, I see nothing that threatened my own faith in my abilities whatsoever. And even if I had - I am not an envious person - I do not need you to suck to be happy with myself, so no, you did not "hurt my ego" at all, and I doubt you hurt anyone else's either. The thought that you even believe you could is just more proof of your own megalomaniacal manner. You keep missing the whole point of what so many writers on this thread have called you on - your supposed status as a self-described writer gives you no additional expertise or insight with which your opinion somehow becomes more valid than anyone elses. Your first post was unconvincing and many of the problems you had with the story were problems with your insight and your comprehension of the storyline.
  9. That is a great line - except I think you meant to aim it at the original poster, not Tanuvien.
  10. Revan never says anything to me. Maybe I smell. I can say "It can't be... why are you here?" then Revan comes for my head.
  11. You have not proved to me you are more skilled in storytelling than anyone here. Proof is in the pudding, baybee. You are also not the only writer here - and other writers disagree with you. You being "semi-professional" (again, whatever that is) does not make your opinion more considered or more valuable than anyone else's, whether they write or not - after all, we can assume everyone hear reads and that is as valid an opinion as someone who writes. I write. I like this story and find it interesting and nicely done. I'll note many of your issues with the game come from your lack of comprehension and not from issues in the story itself. I'm happy for you that you write - it is a valuable outlet and storytelling (at least in my culture) is a sacred gift. But that does not make you Mr Bigstuff of Opinions on any level.
  12. I've heard Disciple will actually flirt with you if you Force Choke him - is that true?
  13. I'd just like to post on here and say I loved this game. The story was wonderful - rich and complex, the characters well-drawn - all in all a very enoyable game for me. Thanks, Obsidian!
  14. Well, that's a happy glitch! Now if there was one like it for the Vocabulator, I wouldn't have spent one whole stupid game without HK.
  15. Hehe, thanks. I'm rather fond of her. Right now her favorite is Bao-Dur. She made me give her "spiky man" hair - 8 tiny pony tails to represent horns.
  16. Oo - forgot to add I love Bao's humor (Atton's too, but Bao's especially) - which is why I would never be able to "hook up a power coupling" with the Disciple. He has no sense of humor, and sarcasm just flies over his head.
  17. Well said, and exactly why I adore him. As for the poster right above that post, wanting to find a man devoted to love like Carth is... I've met him, and he's mine. Our fourteenth wedding anniversary is coming up in a couple months.
  18. Please do not ever use the word "retarded" to mean stupid. Ever. My son is retarded, he is not stupid. They are far from the same thing. Anyone who uses that word in that manner automatically loses all respect I may have for them.
  19. I think the "real" reason is likely exactly what they've stated. I don't see why it has to necessarily have anything to do with some whining - they can look at the board and see how loved the game is as well (fan-art, for instance.)
  20. yeah, I noticed your Revan was my favorite Revan.
  21. My husband loved them - though he just doesn't see Atton or Bao in the same light I do, for some reason.... And your Disciple is adorable - much cuter than the in game guy.
  22. I hope they find someone to do what they need to keep the boards open as well. I like this board.
  23. I love that Juhani. Did I mention my daughter was Juhani for Halloween last year? She's a huge Juhani fan. Nothing like a three year old running through the living room screaming "I will be your DOOM!"
