Then why are there two achievements that require you to play solo? Solo Complete the game without taking any companions after Cilant Lis. Triple Crown SOLO Complete the game on Expert, Trial of Iron, and Path of the Damned modes without taking any companions after Cilant Lis.

It seems almost everyone here picks pretty much the same people from the same games. That either says that Black Isle / Obsidian / Bioware makes the best NPCs, or that those are the only games people here have played (RPG-wise). But, in continuing with tradition, I might as well pick the same ones as everyone else. 8. Xan (Our quest is vaaain) 7. Ajax (from Age of Mythology. Hes sort of part of a party, in the campaign) 6. Black Whirlwind (from Jade Empire, psycho badass with two axes) 5. Xzar (from BG1) 4. Jolee Bindo 3. Zhuge Liang (Destiny of an Emperor (old NES) game. Best strategist in the game.) 2. HK-47 (Master, you are like a delightful random cruelty generator) I could easily stick someone in for 9 and 10, but inserting an "Ajantis" or "Khalid" or even a "Canderous" would serve no purpose. As for NWN2, the only NPC I could consistently like was Sand.

Frankly, I would accredit to the wookie slaves. I bet this is still 6 months away, minimum. Just you wait...

Cutsey graphics... Is this really the level that threads have been brought to here? Just no realistic blood and gore so it doesnt get and M rating. Thats slightly annoying, as fewer people get to enjoy a game like that. Why not just make a game thats all anime while youre at it...

I doubt that. by then, we would have new states (Puerto Rico will stop resisting by then, I think). If not, just use puppet governments, i.e. Project Iraq and Project Great Brit---er, I mean, Project Afghanistan.

Not that it matters, but... I like hardcore gangsta rap (older Dre and NWA,, Wu Tang Clan, Method Man, Tupac, etc...). I like hardcore regular rap, too (Eminem, Snoop, newer Dre, etc...). I also have a favorable reaction towards orchestral stuff. I tolerate some other forms of music, like 70's and 80's rock.

My name has 2 origins. THe first is that i had a cat named MERLin (he died in September; I still cry constantly) and a dog named LANCElot. I decided on the name when I got my first decent computer at Christmas of 1996, and I needed a screenname for AOL (Ive since moved on; MSN in 1999, and when my obligatory 3 years of that was up, to Road Runner in 2002). So, I still use the name because Ive been using it forevor. I use the same name for everything. Message boards, IRC, AIM, yahoo, ICQ... all of it. The second origin, which I picked up in 1998 or 1999 was an acronym. M.E.R.L.A.N.C.E. however I dont recall what it was. If I looked, I could probably find it. Of course, Ive had to operate under aliases in the past. Two of those would be "jedikidboy" and "emperorMike". I Dont have an avatar here yet, but Ill find something soon.

Well, what information do we actually have on the game? That its an RPG is about it. If the game sounds more interesting than that, then I would assume that it would be god. We have the Dark Lord himself (and his apprentice) running the company and working on the game. So long as they have decent equipment (i.e. not a 9 inch monitor and running solely on DOS) they can probably put something decent out.

My my, this certainly is way off topic. Besdies, many others from the BIS boards will "live" here, so to speak. But, if you felt the need to announce your arrival (truly a grand event!) then I dont have a problem with it. Hmm, nope, this post is not spam. Though I do feel the need to post and establish something of a foothold; Im already a few hours late!

Uh, Eye of the Beholder 2 was Darkmoon :D That was a D&D game. I assume that that has nothing to do with anything, though.
