That's one of the issues that i have with TSL. The d20 rules weren't the best, but they had atleast some sort of balance to it, i dunno what a mess lvl30 cap can make, considering that TSL is the same gamelength as KotOR.

I don't want KotOR II this very moment. I'm currently playing Final Fantasy VII for the first time, and it's pretty good actually.

I do believe that Obsidan can deliver when it comes to creating good stories.

I hope that with Fergus mentioning it, and you commenting on it, that means that hopefully down the road, Obsidian might be doing a KOTNR. I just completed Final Fantasy VIII, which wasn't as good as X by far. I've started with Final Fantasy VII today, while waiting for my copy of Halo 2 to arrive.

He is from a trillogy called the "jedi academy trilogy". The basic story is that Luke becomes a self proclaimed jedi master and starts a jedi academy on Yavin 4 where they had the base in ep 4. Turns out the temples were built by Kun and he is still haunting the place and trying to turn Lukes students to the dark side. One of KotOR's better assetts were the soundtrack with themes like Bastila Shan, The Sith, Rhakert Station, Jedi Academy and Ahto City. But since Jeremy Soule isn't doing the soundtrack for TSL (replaced by Mark Grisham IIRC), what are your thoughts about it? I'm a very sceptic at the moment.

I never even noticed this issue when playing KotOR.

I believe that some of those old screenshots were from Sleyheron, that was later scrapped from the final build.

My hopes for TSL is that it has the same production quality in terms of dialogue and story. But time will tell.

That sounds more like a Zelda game than a KotOR game IMO.
