  1. No polls worthy of the name have been conducted since the debate. And the various swing-voter focus groups are all lining up for Hills on this one. Nobody who is already in the tank for one of the two candidates is going to change their minds based on this, sure. But Trump's efforts here probably did more to alienate than appeal to the undecideds whose votes he's going to need. (Anyhow, what kind of idiot wants a President who talks like everyday peopletheir drunk uncle at Thanksgiving?) Polls are **** for most of the time yes, but the there was simply too many of them for not to spot a trend of discrepancy between polling and expert judgement. Focus groups i will not even comment on as they are the cancer of Hollywood and Video Game industry to begin with. Btw, do you live in a gated community? Do you find yourself mostly agreeing with your circle of acquaintenancies?
  2. Finally watched the debate. The moderator was a combination between a schmuck and incompetent as in not making them both shut up about trivialities and not pressing Hillary on anything as far as i can remember. Hillary sounded like the media experts and the journalists while Trump talked like everyday people, so no wonder the media and the polls were so at large with each other. Trump was really nice compared to what he can be, so it left me wondering if he actually just spend the whole debate observing and testing the waters for later debates. If so, then he really is the nimble navigator that the memes pushes him to be. Hillary's smug smile didn't come off as "You mad bro?" or "There's no need to be upset", but rather in a "Haw-haw, i am so smart"-way. It will be detriment for her in the future.
  3. You mean the Austrian School that hates the Fed because muh praxeology or Monetarism which just wants to call the central bank something else? Ooh, I had no idea libertarian economics came from an outright rejection of empiricism. Wow. It's been based on logic instead with the motivation that economic trends are too volatile and based on irrational behaviour to be accurately predicted with empirical models. Personally, i do not care which model is used, but rather on whose interest the policies are made and by whom.
  4. You mean the Austrian School that hates the Fed because muh praxeology or Monetarism which just wants to call the central bank something else? The printing of money should not be in the hands of private institutions making a profit for each debt created, but in the representative power (congress, house of representatives, sovereign, whatnot). Neither should money be tied to gold for the same reasons as it transfer the real power into people like Black Rock asset management or Soros. I haven't seen any real push for this on the agenda in this election.
  5. I had a good night sleep.
  6. Think debating societies are a thing still Frankly, I don't understand the debating societies of today.
  7. My brother went to see him, and asked me to join, but i had a hangover and thought that i will see him the next time. He had a heart attack a month later and never toured again. Obvious reference to point 4, cool story bro and all that.
  8. 1. Learning to let go: When love has died, just let it go and don't continue with a relationship pretending like you have forgotten or don't care. 2. Never embrace lazyness: If you are not doing anything, it's not because you're lazy, it's because you're have no outlook, no goals and no drive. 3. Don't stagnate as a person: Do something everyday that you otherwise do not do or is afraid to do; at the same time don't do things every day that you are accustomed to do. This is how you will overcome yourself, this is how character is built. 4. Never think that you can do it again some other time: Each and everyone of us is equal that we all experience life through glimpses of temporal moments; no one is different. Thus each and every moment is your last before the next and make use of it fully as you will never have it again. 5. Do not neglect your parents or relatives: One day you will find that you cannot talk to them anymore and all left unsaid is just that, left unsaid. 6. Learn the difference between love & lust: Love is to give your soul to someone else, lust is to satisfy your ego. Know this to avoid a life of degeneracy. If i knew those things by 19, i wouldn't have spent 10 years of failed relationships, debauchery and aimless wondering.
  9. Only interesting if the pseudonym turns out to be something good like Sexbot420. Or if he knew that the correspondence was conducted on an insecure channel.
  10. Interesting... http://www.politico.com/story/2016/09/hillary-clinton-emails-fbi-228607

  17. I hope Volo doesnt read this....he will have a field day expressing his horror at BLM being racist ...volo is very sensitive about these things Here's the thing and I wanna ask u a question because I can't seem to get an answer from my friends about this. With the cop killing innocents, why is when it happens to a white/Latino/Asian/etc it's viewed as the cops ****ed up badly, but when it happens to a black person its a racist act and not simply a huge **** up with like with the others? Because there is racial bias. This mostly about white vs black but there's some mentions of hispanics as well: http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/07/data-police-racial-bias Also, this doesn't mean that the cop is actively racist, but rather that there is built in prejudice into police behavior. Racist act doesn't necessarily mean the guy who acted is an evil white supremacist. Minorities are actually less likely to be shot by the Police than whites: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/true-crime/wp/2016/04/27/this-study-found-race-matters-in-police-shootings-but-the-results-may-surprise-you/ Also add into the problem with blacks and hispanics being overpresented in crime to begin with. Where does the racism begin and where does the fact of police just responding to criminal activity end? http://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/pdf/cvus08.pdf Unless these issues are investigated and measures taken accordingly, nothing will be solved. All the collected statistics on actual shootings seem to disagree with that study of police shooting simulations. Did all the collected statistics on actual shootings include investigation whether the cop who pulled the trigger did because the victim was of the wrong race? If you say so.

  19. Also, in terms of sexualities through history and civilizations, the term "Lex Scantinia" and "Puer Delicatus" comes to mind; as in how history is not a one-way street when it comes to sexual minorities. There's of course a debate on how these terms became more common nearer the end of such civilizations as in contrast being there in the beginning, but that's for another thread to speculate.
  20. In the eyes of Von Papen, yes.
  21. Nice investigative reporting and diggging: https://archive.is/rlI9W SuperPacs and non-profit organizations pretty much commit moneylaunder.
