  2. I'm curious why block and parry while dual wielding isn't a thing. I get that the block button is generally LT on remote and it's converted to attack but wouldn't it still be possible to parry with 2 weapons? I'm running dual daggers and I was wondering why cant it be, for remote controller anyway, hold both triggers to block when dual wielding 2 of the same weapon types? I get coding it may be difficult but I realized parry does nothing if you dual wield. I ain't upset just wondering if it was an oversight or just not enough time to get done. Anybody else think it'd be a good way to implement a block feature for Dual wielders? I don't like being forced to tank or dodge I want to block at least some damage with a parry option for the skill in the ranger tree.

  3. I experienced a momentary glitch, where I had the torch in my offhand and one dagger from my dual wield set in the main and I thought, they should make that a thing you can do. Because as much as I enjoy using dual wield weapons, I hate relying on flares to fight in the dark. A fair trade off for using the torch while having the dual wield weapons equipped, in my opinion, would be to lose the dash strike while doing so. What do yall think? Another thing, give us a slot on our buggy to equip a torch! Let them be a mobile torch bearer for us, then we can use any weapon in the dark easier.

  5. Agreed, blocking/parrying while dual wielding would be great, I started playing dual wield on my first character and not a being able to was the sole reason I changed fighting style. I can see two solutions for this, with similar outcomes, ultimately allowing for greater flexibility. ADVANCED CUSTOM KEYBINDS Set by the player, allowing the mapping of one or more buttons in combination to do more advanced actions. E.g… L Trigger + R Trigger = dual block/parry L Trigger + A = Dodge (sometimes dodge is too easy to trigger, with direction plus jump while exploring leading to untimely deaths, though this combo could conflict with grimoire spells) I’m sure there are more ideas out there. CONTROLLER SETTINGS Additional controller presets (currently 3 default/southpaw/custom), built by the devs for specific play styles, allowing for block/party while dual wielding. Or a toggle setting, allowing you to block/party with dual wielding with a predefined combo press. That way, if you’re rage gaming and mashing you can forgo and mash to your hearts content.

  6. Thanks for both of your replies. That is true and I did this, but it takes 8 seconds for the buggy to arrive. That indicates that the buggy is nowhere near where you are. Because 8cm in the game is a long way for us Like Alynxkia suggested, bolting for the nearest non ice area (which is 1 step back really) or behaving like a lab door would make sense. Disappearing into thin air and taking 8 seconds to reappear, does not make sense.

  7. Hi, i am currently building a base with acorn stairs and this + the other basic base features require a lot of Acorn materials. However since the last patch guaranteed an acorn top for each acorn i am currently owning like 100 acorn tops and 2 acorn shells. To me it screams like a wrong balance of resource requirement vs ressource drops. To fix this, i think i have a neat idea which could be incredibly handy while completely fitting the game's flow. How about: New grinder recipe = grind an acorn top into a few acorn shells Let me know if that seems feasable

  8. Could we please get more storage bin icons for labeling we have all the same ones as the first one I don't know too much about adding things to the game but I don't feel like storage bin icons would be that hard we just need more of a variety so we can label bins with other icons there are so many different items in the game but only so few icons

  9. So my new record is clearing everything in Dyrford, Searing Falls etc, bounties included, and going as far as clearing Endless Paths level 9. My balanced, sane and non-cheesy group party of six chanters is looking at the ambush room at the beginning of level 10 and saying nope. ...but if I could beat that room, I could probably keep clearing to level 12 and waltz into Defiance Bay looking for someone to reforge BotEP...

  10. I was thinking since the current way of hot equipping your torch while on your buggy and how it's not really helpful. If fireflies make a return to this game could we perhaps harvest their parts to make a mining hat-esque helmet for our mounts?

  11. Many of the dew drops on the grass leaves won't drop after both striking the grass or chopping it down. They'll stay frozen in place. Some will drop, but most won't. PS Enjoying the game thus far!

  12. Hi, I once did a melee Stalker/Goldpact Knight which was very sturdy and used his very high accuracy potential (Zealous Focus, Stalker's Link, Flames of Devotion + Ring of Focused Flames, Marked Prey, Accuracy Wounding Shot) to deliver the deflection debuff of the Blade of the Endless Paths (-4 deflection on crit, stacks 5 times, also gains accuracy throughout the fight with every second). The result is a "marking" character with sturdyness, nice single target dmg and support who stomps a single enemy's deflection into the ground (for you, the party members and the wolf, too). It worked very well as frontliner.

  13. I'll probably drop DOCB, it's just super convenient early on a multiclass with the +2 power pool. I kinda would like to use Reckless Brigandine to engage a lot of enemies in cleaving stance (with Hold the Line and Persistent distraction) then terrify them, but not sure if I'd like the recovery penalty yet. Maybe later on with armored grace and mob stance. Probably gonna make a trip soon to pick up Nalvi and Heart Defender Scales for Edér, will see when I get some more time to play

  14. I got a free copy of the new Hexen+Heretic release since I owned both Hexen and Heretic on my Steam library. Trying it out now. Also, thank you Bethesda! I don't care if you ruined the Fallout franchise so long as you give me free stuff.

  15. That's a fair assessment. I just figured if it's possible to do it with a combination of buttons I mean if older games could recognize multiple buttons as a combo attack command or a finisher then why cant we block? I personally like the LT and RT controlling their respective hand even when dual wielding. The only reason I can feasibly see why they wouldn't do both triggers would be for rage gamers that try to speed mash when they get frustrated. It's just an idea I had and hoped it could get traction enough to be considered implementing in the game eventually. Thought others may feel the same way. Honestly I play on xbox and idk why we don't have keyboard and mouse input.

  16. I always write stuff like this down to "PC has to suffer because gamepads are limited". Yeah, I want it. And I want my character to alternate weapon attacks when dual wielding too without me having to LMB, RMB, LMB, RMB.
