  1. It would be nice if there was a better storage or unloading/loading option for the drying rack. At the moment I find it very clumsy, you can only put things on the drying rack that are in the inventory. It would be nice if the drying rack could also access the shared storage function of the chests. So you could go to your drying racks and just hang up the stored berries that your buddy has farmed. My idea would be to make it so that only items that are in the radius of the base can be selected and dried.

  2. Can we get some support for hot swapping mutation loadouts without having to go into the mutation menu, or if it’s available did I just miss it?

  5. I’m doing the step that says “Defeat the O.R.C. guards at the Berry Stash”. I killed one of the bees, but the other one I shot with an arrow. It flew back higher into the sky. Didn’t have any way to reach it so I shot it again. It got pushed even higher into the sky. With no way to reach it I started building a huge staircase. Couldn’t get height enough to it. Went into photo mode and hit the ceiling and the bee is even higher than the limit. There are no other bugs to kill, I’ve looked all around the area. But I can’t progress in the story now and there aren’t any game repairs to bring the bee back. Please help, thanks!

  6. Only had one Grub Raw meat hanging on Jerky Rack at the time. Also tested on Jerky Rack with no food hanging, same result.

  8. I just got this mail: Hello Lasang! Thank you for reaching out to Obsidian Support. We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing movement issues while building in AZERTY keyboard Mode . As gamers ourselves, we understand how essential smooth controls are for an immersive and polished experience. Rest assured—we’re here to help and will do everything we can to assist you effectively. Our team is aware of this issue, and it should be addressed in a future patch.

  10. I want to be able to grow the flowers that are in grounded so I am all for them expanding on this.

  11. This could be a lot of fun as it would give more purpose to cooking and into building comfort into our bases.

  12. There are a lot of spray cans in Grounded 2, and I wouldn’t mind some of them turning into paint spray cans that we could gather various colors from. I’m also a fan of being able to make some dyes/paints at the crafting bench you mentioned. We could go somewhere a little unique with the wallpaper pattern aspect, and unlocked new patters by finding “inspiration” in the yard. Things like spotting the random drawings in the game, certain landmarks or making it to a certain view… or we could just use science to unlock new sets like we do with signs.

  13. I hear you. There are lots of places that I want to build in this game, but like you mentioned with the cans and bottles we can’t. (Ex. Skateboard. Yes, you can build off the ground right next to it and basically incorporate it but it’s not the same as being able to actually build on top of it.) I’m hoping that as the game develops further and they know that they’re less likely to move the objects in the game around that they will allow more building in and on objects. Or at least allowing the placing of torches and other light fixtures, as I really enjoyed placing lights in a whole bunch of places in Grounded 1. I had placed multiple lanterns inside of the lily pad flowers in Grounded 1 and the effect was really pretty… although I was super disappointed that I couldn’t tell that the lights existed from my tree base. But this conversation is reminding me to go check out if we have building rights inside of ant hills. For a brief period of time and Grounded 1 we did have that ability and I loved it. I had built some stairs in the Abandon Ant Hill so you could get back up on the ledge and placed wall lanterns all around. Of course this building freedom in ant hills also let you cheese the Assistant Manager fight if you chose to… but if that’s the way some players wanted to tackle the fight why not? More building freedom please

  14. Hey we're having the same issue. Did you find a solution to this at all?

  15. I had the same issue. Me and a mate did the purple spinning thing first, and when we went to go and kill the guards at the candy stash they didn't spawn at all. Please fix or tell us how to fix it

  17. Unless I'm missing something, it seems that certain items can only be built through the construction radial. The issue is that I can't view detailed information about these items from the radial itself. This isn't a big deal for legacy items from the original Grounded, since I'm already familiar with their functions. However, for new additions like the egg storage and landing pad, I'd really like to read more about what they do before placing them. It would be much more user-friendly if the main crafting menu in the SCA.B 2K included every buildable object, not just those unlocked through standard crafting. This would help players better understand new content and plan their builds more effectively.

  18. Based on my limited testing, it appears to work only on certain types of smoothies. For me, it was crafting Sticky Green Machine smoothies that completed the Long Lasting quest.

  20. I know its really weird, but I really hate killing the caterpillars and the snails. They are just sweeties and so cute- could you possibly just make them a feedable bug as an option? As in you give them something edible they like and they give the production items such as the slime and small nubbins? Or something similar to that effect. Don't get me wrong, I know some would still want to slay them and all, but I struggle with doing so each time and it makes me feel guilty. Also highly suggest dialing it back on the scorpions ganging up on people- and letting them nest with wolf spiders. That was a crazy fight to deal with and try to recover a back pack from. Also, because I am evil, scorpions can live underwater for up to 2 days. If you wanted to include them in any water biomes. That would be pretty awesome. One last little thing, with all the new bugs and colors- maybe make some painting of various building items as options? It'd be kind of cool to just have a few colors to change building pieces too- just a random thought.

  21. 1. You should be able to interact with breakable things such as quartzite while riding on the buggies if the are within a proximity. 2. You should be able to use ranged weapons while on buggies 3. Currently it seems that if you are riding a buggie you can't open/Interact with the buggies inventory/backpack which seems like something you should be able to.

  22. have a look at the free inventory spaces, you might have dropped it on the floor when gathering and having no place in the inventory to place the item

  23. While I am in love with the buggies and really happy about being able to ride them, I am not so happy about hopping off to do something and it walking directly in my face and making me interact with it instead of what I was trying to do. It automatically follows when you ride, which is fine and all, but it would be nice if follow actually meant follow with a reasonable distance from the player and not 'walk all around and on top of me and get directly in my way.'

  24. I have to be the dissenting voce against people saying they don't like the omni tool. The omni tool rules. You still perform the satisfying chopping animations, the literal only difference is that you hold E. Frankly, people wanting to click for the exact same result is not worth losing the extra room on my hotbar or the hassle of having to repair tools.

  25. Adding to Raven Scar: In grounded 1 they also changed some areas. I still remember the complains of some people when they found their base under water after the update because they change that specific area in a patch. So will it be necessary? Probably, a lot can change in a year or two during EA.

  26. I believe that Axl’s arena has already been implemented into the game, just no Axl yet. There are numerous leaks of people exploring his rumored arena. You can only get into with fly mode or whatever.

  27. if the first game is any indication, it'll be expansion updates that may require a reset, i remember when they added the pond in it didn't need a fresh start, same with the trash bags, yet bigger areas, ie. The sandbox, upper yard, picnic table did need a fresh start as they altered the game world. So if we go by that my guess is AXL's arena probably won't need a fresh start. But considering, unlike the first game, you can't explore out of bounds areas, its probable that was done to avoid constant fresh starts

  28. As far as I know, the only way to get your backpack from unreachable areas is to use the Recover Backpack option under the Game Repair. You can only do it once per save load so if it happens again you'll have to reload a save.

  29. Hello fellow teens I've just spent the last hour cooking up a forum post to talk about how I missed out on the ROACH RAGE trinket, and hoping there would be a second chance. If your in the same boat as me and you missed the trinket. Go back and really really look around that room. My General Berserker bugged out (no pun intended) when I killed him his dead body went crazy all over the room. When I looted him my inventory hit the 40/40 limit. From my experience this trinket DOES NOT despawn. I've put about another 12-15 hours since I killed him and I went back a looked at my twitch vod to see what happened and I found the trinket after walking right over it on live. Not gonna lie because I already typed up my original post I'm just gonna keep it below here in case you want to read it. You never know maybe my message below will help someone who has an actual bug in their save. (Disregard this below) Hey guys I found a pretty sucky situations I found myself in. Currently I'm trying to collect everything in the 0.1.1 update. With collecting everything I'm currently working on trinkets and weapons. I found a video stating that the ****roach Queen in the Network Center, General Berserker, drops the roach rage trinket. When I played through the network center for the first time my inventory was very full. I guess it was completely full because when I looked General B he/she never dropped the trinket for me. My only proof that I never got the trinket is that if I were to go into the natural resources tab in the crafting menu. Other trinkets such as the "Spectacular Spicy Shard" appear. My suggestion is to make a way to get this trinket so that people who missed it can still get it. I went into a twitch vod and found out that I missed out on this trinket by walking over it. It was late at night I had been playing for 7 hours at this point and General B died in a dark corner.

  33. Loving the game so far! One improvement that would really enhance exploration—especially in darker areas—is the ability to carry a torch or light source. It would be immersive and helpful in dungeons or at night. Any plans to implement this?

  34. I had the same issue. I created 2 buggies & was out with 1 when it ran off & never came back. The game kept saying it was following me, so I couldn’t call it. When I went home & tried to put it in the nest, I couldn’t do it. I took the other one out & the spot was replaced by the missing one. When I tried to put the 2nd one in the nest, it didn’t register a 2nd buggy. I created a new nest to see if I could put the 2nd buggy in there & that one didn’t register the 2nd buggy either. I took the 1st one out the nest & now I had 2 buggies with me. I logged out & came back in & the 2nd one disappeared completely.

  35. Got fired at my second job (company wide restructuring) and I have to say, while inconvenient, I do feel a certain sense of relief at all the extra free time I am getting. It's going to be interesting looking for a PM role as I'm not certain how that will work, but on the other hand they did me a favor, I should have left half a year ago. I think they were taken aback about how chill I was regarding the whole thing.
