  2. Apparently the US government doesn't know what it knows. Rummy was on to something.

  3. Interestingly (to me), we checked Home Depot, Lowes and Costco and the best deal was found on LG's website itself. In LG's case, delivery of the new units and haul away of the old units is included in the price. The other three charge you $50 each ($100 total) to haul away the old washer and dryer. My wife does the same thing for our vacations. She will go to the website of the resort we plan on staying and join their "preferred member" program and then book it through the hotel. Turns out to be more economical and a better deal than using an agency like Expedia.com, Cheap Carribean Vacations.com, etc.

  5. I mean this is what's baffling for me, the guy talked about tariffs every damn day for a year and you still had people shocked about "Liberation Day" tariffs. At some point you have to assume the stupid **** he says is genuinely what he believes instead of dreaming up a scenario where a dementia-addled boomer is playing 1776d chess by rambling on his twitter fork.

  6. Yes, I tend to agree Trump "likes " Putin because he admires strongman leaders and autocrats who have complete control of the country and things like the media But realistically comparing the US to any established dictatorship, autocracy or one party state is silly, sensationalized and inaccurate But the whole idea of " Rusmerica" was real for a while and it was peddled by a few people even if was completely unrealistic And it was raised by people mostly outside of the US

  8. This was never in play. I think the problem with many observers, and especially foreign observers, is their ideological orientations+emotions rather than reality motivating their interpretations of what Trump is all about and what he wants. Neither Trump nor Vance are truly "pro-Russia," and they never were. But their critics desperately want to believe that. So they will. <shrug>

  9. I think the funniest thing about Trump is that he has done more to harm his followers than anyone else and they still worship him like a golden calf.

  10. Following giving up on DA:I, I decided I needed to return to a good, old, classic cRPG. So I've started a replay of Pillars of Eternity 1. After playing PoE2, I thought I wouldn't ever want to go back to PoE1. But after one day, things are looking great. Playing a talky wood elf paladin.

  11. There is nothing specific about 2028 in that video. Rewatch it. He is just asked about his successor. Perhaps there's more context in the full interview, but the context is simply not there in the snippet Ben Shapiro posted. One would think if there were something more substantial for this to serve as a clear rebuttal, he would have posted that part too. Ben Shapiro is an obsequious toad, but not a complete idiot. As it stands, this means nothing. A successor is needed for Trump anyway, regardless of how many terms he wants or can run or how long he'll be in office. Sheesh.

  12. But even when they criticize Russia they don't seem to follow that criticism with actions which is quite different from their actions against other countries where they seem everyday to do new actions. Playing home audience is quite different from actually being something. In past 6 months their actions have been quite pro Russian. They have but more pressure on Israel than Russia. So I can see where their critics are coming from.
