Please implement equilateral triangle Foundations (like Ark or Conan Exiles) for the buildingsystem. It would allow us to create better - near to round - buildings in a larger size.

Grounded 1 had no problems with brigntness but in grounded 2 I'm really struggling. I can't get the gamma setting correct, the dark areas are too dark and looking up to find water is murdering my eyes with brightness. I have to resort to hacking the game with reshade just to be able to play without getting constantly flashbanged. There's something seriously wrong with the lighting in this game and we need additional settings or a patch to fix how bright it is outside or how dark it is in the shade.

G1 map was more dense in landmarks and organic story pieces. You could look into the distance, see something interesting and get curious about exploring there. G2 map has much less of that and it feels much more generic, bland, gamey and uninspired. Not sure if it's fixable in EA but I'm just going to put this out there - you did something very right in G1 and failed to replicate it so far, when it comes to map design.

The TV and Streaming Thread: That's Entertainment!

There hasn't been an actual decent film adaptation of the novel ever, imo. I mean I have fondish memories of seeing the 1953 film on TV as a kid, but it doesn't age that well. I mostly see the novel as one of the major influences re: sci fi and invasion/first contact themes in film/media. I don't mind the lack of pathogen immunity angle. But I can see a point where something else could be used because "everyone" knows that's how the story ends, so something new would be more interesting. - Today

Hi we’ve been playing grounded 2, was wondering if your going to make it easier to toggle what’s in your left hand Luke touches ect. And the work bench needs to be more interactive instead of it all being on the construction wheel.

A few more bugs: Floating insects, just floating and doing their thing Clipping issues with resources and insect bodies into static decor, rocks and dirt. Clover is big problem with this. Bugs in rocks. Buggies just being all up in your face. Maybe not a bug but seriously annoying when you're chopping resources that they can't. Keybinds don't save after closing the game Resources disappearing or not appearing after harvesting, IE: Chopped dandelion not dropping any stems.

Whilst traversing around the world, I noticed that there seems to be a lot of different types of bugs just congregating in one area but it doesn't seem to be consistent. In the first game you'd occasionally have different types of insects clashing, but in this game within seconds I was surrounded by scorpions, mosquitos, soldier ants and ****roaches etc. Then when trying to escape, the scorpions would leave their areas entirely and not return to where they were situated. Instead, they'd be following us around the map and we even had one following us around the starting lab area and even into the first ranger station. This made traversing quite difficult as the running speed is a lot slower than scorpions. It also made things quite hard in terms of trying to plan strategies to avoid certain insects when loads can just pop up in one area. I have really been enjoying it! However, fixing the behaviours and unpredictability/glitching of bugs going wherever you go, would be a great update.

On console when scrolling through large UI menus (Armor/weapons) it will almost always crash the game

FirstToFire started following Can’t load/view saves (Xbox)

From what I can tell I can no longer enter a screen which loads the save files, as it’ll crash to Home Screen. I can still load up the game, start a new game, and even auto-save, but when it makes any attempt at viewing the save files it always crashes. I’ve attempted deleting locals saves and resyncing, reinstalling, restarting console, and well over 20 attempts just launching and trying to load anything still to no avail. I’m hosting a shared save, and have few solo saves, of which I would really not like to lose the shared save for. Currently I can’t even play anything other than a solo no save run until it crashes 1-2 hours in.

This seems like a good idea, that and being able to send chests or things you need zipping across the map on zip lines would also be really cool. Because obviously recycling, picking everything up and running in intervals could be very time consuming, depending on how big the map will be, even with buggies it would be cool to have an option to speed things up. Or even having an option to relocate things to different base outposts you've set up could be helpful.

I found it a bit awkward that the buggy can break some unbreakable walls, but it can't chop tier 2+ materials in nature. It would be nice for the chop power to scale up with the Omni Axe at least. Sometimes I am gathering materials with my buggy, and then I face a tier 2 material, and I need to get off the mount to chop it and then go back to load it up.

Generally speaking, we love it so far. The yard is beautiful. While I'm not a huge fan of the new SCA.B radial in the upper corner, I think it has a nice immersive style. I like the idea of the omni-tool. Love choosing molars on the go and I like having the armor not just in a row but shown kinda where it goes on the body. Would be a nice little touch to add a lefty-option, where main and offhand are swapped. But now for the actual topic. Playing on PC, multiplayer (2 players), as client, no phobia mode, medium difficulty. Problems: - I lost connection to the host multiple times while loading, this was not an issue in Grounded 1 - When giving a container a name with an F, the selected item get's stored - My ant mount went, well, buggy This happened two times, once after a game crash and once after loading a save, we didn't try a third time. The mount was still visible in the radial menu, with full health, but I can't call it. I was also missing the little whistle icon on the right of the screen. We hatched a second one, but it went into this mode as well after loading a save. When the host restarted, both of them were gone from the radial. This did not happen for the host. - Placed doors are often weirdly aligned with the wall, the wall being on the ground but the door wants to go 2/3 into the ground or 1/3 above it. Annoying feature / bug?: - The PEEP.R doesn't work while mounted We get mounts early, while still spotting a lot of bugs. - Third/First-Person-Question every time I join the game. Suggestions / general feedback: - Will there be cozyness? I couldn't find it. - I want to name my mount! - The mount making sounds / attack sounds, even when not attacking, feels to frequent and has me turn around and smack at it too often. - The mount attacking everything when we don't. While following, give us the option to choose between: help when in combat, engage, take distance from combat (to not have it in the way) - There's no mutation radial. Also, if G2 will have as many mutations as G1, I need more then 4 sets please. - I like the omni-tool, but in several occasions the angle for the prompt to appear was weird and it ended up hitting a wall or the ground instead. I suggest an enforce-omni-tool-radial, where we can force a specific omni into our hand and click it like a weapon. This will also allow holding down the button while harvesting a lot. - With the toolbar not being visible in inventory, I couldn't find a way to assign an item group (like any health, any food) to the slots I like - I'd like multiple toolbars to scroll through back, even more than three. Maybe set the amount in the settings, so you don't have empty ones if just need one or two. - The anti-clipping is way to strict. - The possibility to have multiple waypoints and bring them in order. Preferably automatically while placed but changeable on the map. - Allow 'spotting' / 'marking' of molars, so they appear on the map as not-yet-harvested. - We had multiple scorpion ambushes that felt out of place / too strong. For example, once when we were barely in the 'entrance' section, two small and two large scorpions simultaneously bursted out. - The headless roaches are funny, but it feels as if it happens a bit too early and starts to get annoying. - I feel the game becomes very fast / hectic very early in comparison two G1. When thinking about someone not having played Grounded 1, having to go that early into the labyrinth the ant hill is (when you don't know how to navigate it), to steal an egg and then constantly being attacked on their way out... I don't know man. - Picking up an idea from another thread talking about roach phobia: Maybe create phobia models for all bugs (yes, lots of work) and allow selecting to which ones the slider applies.

This time I am playing a ranger, and a significant issue I found is that there's no defense for rangers if a bug attacks from close distance. Sometimes it's not viable to dash in a direction to avoid a hit, and there's no option to parry an attack with a bow like in the original game. This makes this class too vulnerable and not viable to play solo :/

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/07/30/gdp-q2-2025-.html Overall good economic metrics for the US economy for its 2nd quarter Its too early to understand the impact that tariffs on imports and goods within the US will have and I would wait for last quarter to see that impact -
I found a workaround! Make a standard copy of your latest shared world backup save. Rename the world to something different and then use the option to make it a shared world again. Downside is you lose any previous saves before your latest save, but you're able to continue on a shared world from your latest save. Just did this and it worked. Got my save back and going. Thankfully it autosaved just minutes before I crashed so I didn't lose any progress!
