Trump has officially become anti-MTG because of her view that the full Epstein files must be released I have never liked her but its a good example of the mercurial nature of Trumps support for political allies

Random video game news... RNG is your friend!
LadyCrimson replied to Frak_the_2nd's topic in Computer and Console
Ah. Well, I didn't read all their announcements or dev blogs or any such. I just knew it was being made/probably saw some "upcoming" videos, quick read the store page, and bought it on ea-release. I still think it's a weird thing to utilize early-access for. I know "everyone" raises the price on full release, ofc. -
The TV and Streaming Thread: That's Entertainment!

Karate Kid Legends - in a review of The Long Walk, the young Asian actor in that was mentioned re: this movie. Which made me go "There's yet another KK movie?" ----certainly can't hold a candle to the original film (RIP, Pat), but there was enough scattered nostalgia-bait to make me smile. I liked the middle section with the father chr. the most, it had the best chr. moments imo - the bully vs underdog aspects didn't work for me here because it seemed to take backstage, thus "don't care". I liked it a fair bit better than Will Smith's son version - although since - outside of J. Chan - I actively disliked that one, not sure if that's a glowing endorsement. Last Samurai Standing - battle royale, short series, in the after-Edo period. Desperate ex-samurai get into a thing - with over-dramatic political/rich conspiracy in the background. ----I wasn't super feeling it until the 3rd episode. 3rd episode was a corker imo and convinced me. Once the number of people is whittled down a bit, series starts to come together better. ----action sequences, mostly awesome. Camera work, choreography. ----No magic/superpowers, but some of that anime speed/strength, especially a couple chrs. ----you'll hear "it's like Squid Game" a lot perhaps in reviews. But outside of the rich politicians making bets (which IS very squid game feeling), the rest isn't. ----mostly action, some humanistic elements, good cast, I ended up liking it. Action stuff: 8.5/10, overall: 6,5/10 -
Sound effects: Since starting the game, the corner that the pets are in have sound effects without the pets out. They all overlapped until the new update. Now it's only the continuous aunties choice AD sounds with whatever pet I have out. Pets glitching/not appearing: it started with the sweet roll worm. It was chosen when loading my save then after using the workbench, now it won't appear anymore. The premium edition sprat is effected now after a couple more hours.

I agree with maki, of course it feels great to slaughter everything that is in fron of you and see that nobody is standing. Though it feel like you are the only person on the planet which in return makes you feel regret that you'll be alone in ghost towns and wilderness. Maybe bodies could decay after a while and we could see more enemy spawning through portal or airships? Maybe to claim the land for themselfs. That would be so cool to have a mechanic like this that you never can expect whats going to happen next time you take a visit in place, more random encounters and watch patrols/bosses roaming around the planet minding their own business.

keb8907 started following companion chat indicator bug and one other
-
I still have the companion chat bug on inez after the most recent update and there is another one i found. in the supreme arbiter's officer, the placard that is supposed to be on the locked case is not there so i can not examine you can not interact with or lock pick it. this is the case with the two objects in the office during Tristan's quest.

Mana started following Outer Worlds 2 What i feel
-
Hello everyone, i'm here to speak about outer worlds 2 and what i feel about it personally atm. I have not counted how many hours ive put into the game but overall it seems pretty cool, but there are moments where i felt it being somewhat of a bummer. I prefer sneaky type of gameplay the most in all games if its an option, but in this game its kind of worthless because all the npcs last i tried in patch 1.0.04? were all static, thats how i felt, i could rob a whole city with quick run. Just go behind npc that never moves an grab everything you want even from the front of npc eyes, like they are blind. Combat feels a bit janky, the movements are straight from morrowind? Most items that i pic (food) have no purpose except in very high difficulty, the food has % value they fill and i read that they have buffs too? Well, if you just move while you shoot you probably have to heal every now and then. Medic stools are everywhere. Felt that also the combat in general doesnt have that spark or maybe im hoping for something that wasnt ment to be in this game. Also ive noticed tgat when you murder a person, their body will most likely never be found even if its in middle of a city square. One time someone found a body, but it didnt really have any consoquence in anything really. When i gather items, like weapons and armor they just become pickup trophies most of the time and will not be used because thats on them feel kind of the same, of couse i like the looks of everything i gather. This is a good looking game. There are alot of explorable cool places where im hoping to be suprised with something worth my explore, a killer mutant boss or side activity, maybe a great loot! Most of which i find the samey stuff. Believe me, this is a great game and i love to visit the game again and play it through many times. But i think there are some game breaking stuff for me that takes away the immersion, maybe add security cameras for hackers to tackle? Still i give this game 8/10 because i see the potential for this game to be something special.

I hope anyone who says they're fine with this realises they don't have a leg to stand on anymore when they prattle about Samuel and Vicki Weaver or the Branch Davidians.

BUG: Hand over the Calcaduceus
Aj2k06 replied to Gabe2K's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Im also having this issue. Not sure what needs to be repaired atp -
Hi, i installed Outer Worlds 2 from the Windows Store. I was playing about a week without any issues. Since today its hanging on startup though. I'm getting as far as the title screen where it says "The Outer Worlds 2" and the music is playing. However the "press key to continue" text never appears and i can`t go any further. I already updated my AMD Graphics drivers and uninstalled / reinstalled the game without any change. Any advice on how to fix this? Thanks MunchkinMan

1. The end of the Tristan storyline "casting off the veil." It's all done except I'm supposed to debrief with him after all the action with Virgil and Tristan acts like nothing happened - cannot complete question. REALLY annoying. 2. Even more annoying, there is a game ending but (for me, anways) where I'm trying to bridge the differences b/w Auntie and Ruth (the order). I talked to Auntie first and kept things non-commital, then did all the Order/Ruth things and was told to strike a deal with Auntie. I go back to the ship to re-engage Auntie and there are no options to move orward withthe quest "An equitable arrangement" (or whatever it's called). i talk to her VPs and the only option is to 100% side with Auntie, which I don't want to do. I feel like Obsidian's update caused some major bugs. I have no interest in playing this game anyway if these cannot be resolved sadly. Garth

For the main character my favorite class is probably Monk. But I also like Barbarian and Druid a lot. Wizard is also cool... My personal ranking (not in terms of power but of enjoyment) for main character class might be: 1. Monk 2. Barbarian, Druid 3. Wizard 4. Priest, Chanter 5. Ranger, Paladin 6. Fighter, Rogue, Cipher I started a new turn based run with a melee Ranger (+Wolf) a few days ago.

Adding a note that could help in context, not sure if all having same situation, I have the exact same problem, and I am suck on "Hand over the Calcaduceus" floating marker without NPCs. Checking the Journal, I can see in "Methods of Applied Force" -> "Secure the Archive for the Order" still has the note 'The Archive is badly damaged, You will not be able to hand over the Calcaduceus until you have made the repairs necessary to generate the rift data.'

First off, a big thank you for bringing this to PoE1. I've always held the opinion that if the first game had a turn-based option it would be my favourite over its sequel, I hope the full release is brought to ps4, I'd have a new favourite CRPG. (Mainly a console guy) Anyway, a couple of issues I've noticed so far: 1. When using a chanter in combat, the game will sometimes get "stuck" whilst the end turn button just says "Waiting" and I'm unable to proceed. I saw a similar report about this and would like to add that when this happens, my rangers' animal companion's name is at the top of the scree, as though it's selected. Not sure if there's a correlation there. When trying to quickload to escape the situation, I end up with a black screen, but with audio, and I have to force-close the game. 2. The pathing on enemies can sometimes be a little whacky, sometimes not attacking when they clearly should be or sometimes they'll go all the way around a corridor and come out of the other side instead of just walking 3 feet towards me. 3. A similar issue can also happen with my party members, sometimes if they can't quite make a shot they will break out into a strange jagged run (almost like they're lagging across the battlefield) and simply keep moving towards the enemy until they're out of movement points, rather than attacking. There are much more in-depth reports to come from others I'm sure, I just wanted to report on my experience, I really want this to be as good as it can be. Thanks!
