  1. Past hour
  2. I have the exact same issue, died to the boss a few days ago and decided to gear up some more. Went back today and I cannot scan to open the door anymore.
  3. Everyone needs to open the door in hatchery anthill south entrance to get overpowered gear or stuff or new animal pet? Who knows what's beyond the uknown the v9 battery in the hill it has a pressure plate and I'm guessing we have to guess the correct and exact not one not0.1 off not anything off you have to guess it exactly exactly exactly the correct number it may not look connected but it is try to find the number and I think it has something to do with either armor weapons or items or other stuff good luck spread the word btw the v9 battery is next to the red door and yes it can be opened
  4. So... I started a Shepherd (Stalker + Kind Wayferer). Not dead set on it, honestly I never played a ranger that wasn't a Ghost Heart, neither one that was melee focused so I kinda want to try one. I hope the White Flames and the bonus armor can keep the animal companion alive. Gonna have Edér with Heart Defender scales + Shieldberer/Troubadour healer keeping up the bear with LoH if required. The other two party members are going to be a Seer with Essence Interruptor + a Wildrhymer with spearcaster (at least that's the plan for now). As I said, I never tried a non-ghost heart ranger, is it possible to keep the bear alive, and get good value out of it, or will it become a nuisance later on?
  5. Here's Mekuna's Ice Shard Hydra build if you're interested. There's also a link to the theoretically best build in it too, but that is only interesting after you've found really good Greater Affixes and the appropriate Mythic gear. I didn't like the playstyle with Floaty Bobble and Teleport Enchantment*, so I left those out. I got lucky and had a very early Nagu rune drop, which makes for an infinite summon loop (Nagu + Ceh) always maxing Primordial Binding out. In the highest DPS meta build that is replaced by having Unstable Currents on all the time and proccing Lightning Spears en masse. *General idea is to have enough cooldown reduction on your gear that you can permanently evade between casts. If you're nowhere near that it's just better to use Hydra as enchantment. Can't say no to that extra damage, and handling Teleport and Evade separately gives more controlled mobility without all that CD reduction.
  6. Today
  7. I built a base up against the tree in the “entrance,” region on the side where the roach spawns. When I go to walk up my stairs it pushes me backwards. The only way to get up the stairs I built is if I am on a buggy and I have to jump over the part where the stair begins and land high enough to pass whatever this invisible obstruction is, please fix this.
  8. No matter how often we check, everything respawns except the milkweed pods. It's been at least 30 in-game days, and no respawn. is this normal?
  9. Some bugs I've found: -My games crashes and freezes quite often but I know this is fairly normal for early access, specially on a weekend laptop. My boyfriend's PC runs que game much smoother but he still crashes out like once a day (real day, not in-game day) after a few hours of playing. -My map resets every time I leave the game and reload, which is very annoying to keep track of where I've been. -We've also found some instances of flying Jr. Orb Weavers, many people have reported this though. One of them looked like it was just walking while hanging upside down from an invisible thread. -My game froze and eventually kicked me out, when I reloaded I was unable to call my buggy anymore, it was just sent back to the nest and I can't do anything about it -This one is kinda funny ngl. Every now and then, when we're using arrows, one of the arrows will just become MASSIVE. It's like it bugs into real life size. I don't know if by any odd chance this is an intended feature but low-key looks super funny. (Photo attached)
  10. I am stuck fighting the O.R.C. ****roach inside the Burg.L statue. I grinded so hard to get that spider mount just to get blocked by a flippin' GLITCH! 2 times I defeated the stupid thing and I kept trying to prolong my life with the candy bars but the sizzling never stopped. I ran out of the 23 candy bars i had. Ran out of the 32 bandages I had. burned up all the smoothies i had, no matter which one i used. I didnt have any sizzle armor on me not expecting this encounter but even then I was never really concerned with a roach fight. Its fine if you dont get hit but because the room is a stupid shape i run into corners cause im constantly backing away from the roach trying to avoid the acid pool he spits and eventually i get stuck on the corner of the walls cause theres like 20 corners in that area -,- and yea i cant get away from the acid pool in time to avoid it and kill the stupid thing cause of the confined area and yea the infinite sizzle has killed me more than once and its now pissing me off! FIX THIS. PRONTO. this is like suppppppper annoying to be held up on a REdonkulous glitch. -.- I'm totally loving the game which is why its pissing me off soo much that I cant get past this stupid roach thats bugged out making it almost invincible. it dies and still gets the last laugh every time.
  11. Had this happen with a friend. He ended up making a standard save of the world and then promoted that to a shared world then unshared the borked one.
  12. This is almost what happened to the first attempt my friend and I tried to play. We were playing when an update needed to happen and this caused some sort of issue. When I tried to re-launch the game, my save was flat out missing. He could see it though somehow. I could only see it if he were playing and it still showed him I was the owner. I had tried to save the game before I logged out but it wouldn't save. I could push that button all day but it wouldn't save. I couldn't load any of the backup saves because it said there was no primary save. He ended up making a standard save then promoting that to a shared world and gave me permission to it. I was still having problems with things so I ended up uninstalling/reinstalling. Oh, the joys of early access.
  13. I have been having this happen. I'm playing it from the PC GamePass. I had to go find both .exe files for the game and set both to always run as administrator in order to save keybinds (probably only needed one but wanted to be sure). Of course this won't help anyone on an Xbox, but this does seem to be some sort of permissions problem. I don't know why it's pulling this.
  14. Three times now my friend and I have had to restore our game from a standard copy one of us thankfully made because hours of playtime was erased by there being no save or backup saves created during that whole session. This latest time, it was him who owned the shared world. I had played through 6 in game days, a couple of them with him. During that entire time, not one save was made, even on logout when it says it is going to make a save. I had made a standard copy when I left the game since we flat out lost everything from our first game and we didn't want that to happen again. I'm not sure if making the standard copy somehow made the shared save lose all those hours of gameplay or not, but that was kinda crazy that neither him or I had any trace of it otherwise.
  15. holy,i mean is crotonbug,he words are blocked, it's a bit funny
  16. You're kidding i just built a ladder to the sky to get the blueberry bee to spawn this game is nothing but setbacks
  17. I'm a Grounded player from China and a huge fan of Obsidian. I also bought the Founder's Edition of Grounded 2. There's a Chinese-developed medicine called Kangfuxin Ye that can treat ulcers and help heal wounds after surgery. It also has anti-inflammatory and even anti-tumor properties. It's made from an extract of dried American ****roaches, so I'd like to see dried ****roaches and a drink recipe based on them added to Grounded 2. There's also a joke online about Guangdong province: Cantonese people ride ****roaches when they go out, so I hope ****roaches can be ridden in a future update.
  18. Went inside the cave 5 times and it's just scorpions, I'm gonna have half of my chest full of scorpion parts. Until this is fixed I'm gonna gather other bug parts, make brittle whetstone/plating, crude rope, silk rope, bandages, smoothies, blueberry/lingonberry leather and food to prepare for the yard extending.
  19. Just found another BUG: creating shakes with chewing gums doesn't trigger the ranger task (create 5 shakes to gain 600 raw science)
  20. child are being damaged by radio and tv too also dnd far less than they are damaged by their parent most of the time people actually care would not use such nonsense excuse
  21. Happened twice now - once on a co-op world, and then once on my solo world. I play on PC via Steam. Attempting to loot a bombardier beetle body after defeating it, I accidently used my omni tool to hit some grass roots while I took damage from its exploding body. This deleted my daggers and placed the omni tool (axe) in my hand. When going to inventory to remove the omni tool, the daggers are nowhere to be found. Just submitted a ticket, but wanted others to be aware/see if it has happened to anyone else. Thanks
  22. I remain sceptical as to how well that will work. I kinda sorta agree with the premise, which is that children are being damaged by the internet, I'm just not sure how well this policy will actually work to fix that.
  23. So I am just going to go over a list of topics and my opinion on how things can be improved or expanded upon. So far from what we have I think its a great start to hopefully a phenomenal game. CLASS SYSTEM The archetypes are fine to have in the game I think (as far as the primary mutations, Dual Daggers/Ranged/Staves etc) because it will def help more casual players be able to pick and go as far as that system is concerned but I would like to see more depth and or synergy with the mutations. I would love to see new arch types like a bomber and summoner make a fully fleshed appearance this time around and so on. I also believe everyone should have options for tier 1 versions of their respective weapons available, its not fun wanting to play a mage but knowing you have to put in a lot of time before you can farm the materials in order to get your first weapon and then start working on the mutations for it. EA seems to be heavily focused on melee at the moment which is fine the game has always been melee heavy and favored but I would like to see more love go into ranged builds this time around. For bow especially the dash doesn't feel like a good combo with it. As melee you feel fine to rush in because at any moment you can parry attacks or hold block up for an imminent attack but the dash doesn't feel overly responsive and some attack patterns cant be dodged consecutively without taking damage. The bow not being able to block forces you into a playstyle where you have to "cheese" almost every fight and that doesn't feel good. Also, can we not do something about arrows??? It's 2025 and crafting arrows feels like an unnecessary chore rather than something that improves the overall gameplay experience. Its also a wasted mega molar slot when it could be used for more backpack slots or something far more valuable to every build in the game. Can we not just get a pattern for a quiver and have that slot into the bow/crossbows offhand and just like the omni-tool have a screen in which players need certain resources to unlock spicy arrows or feather arrows or any other type so we aren't spending twice the time gathering for ammo as opposed to every other build that gets to use that time to play the game. I feel like it falls squarely under the, "respect the players time" category. ITEMIZATION Gear already feels a lot better this time around with a lot of variety in the game already. I would like to see possibly unique armor in the game like there are weapons, I feel like it would add so much to the game. It couldn't be something just in a cave though as people would run to it grab it and never have to craft gear. It would need to be something you have to progress to unlock, so with a tough boss like the mutated brood mother from the first grounded, working up to that boss took work and effort and then having a piece of armor or trinket drop as low drop rate I think would be a very exciting addition to the game. Can we also talk about environmental hazards, it NEVER feels good to have to take off my set of armor that is either buffing my build or enabling it to wear fuzzy gear so that I don't chill and freeze in place every few seconds. Cane we not have gear like that and for sizzling effects and gas be introduced as liners are some extra slot the player can equip onto their gear? it feels very redundant to have to take off your build gear to wear a sun hat because of the heat. This also goes for lighting, often time at night or in the caves especially you have two options, walk around with your torch so you can see and navigate or fight in the utter darkness like on the long winter episode of game of thrones and hope you are hitting the enemy. We should have a means of lighting up the darkness while wielding our weapons by now, either via helm light or a powerful glowstick on the belt or some attachment again like the omni-tool. I would also love players to have access to more trinket slots, we could really do soo much more with what's already in the game with more freedom there or even a way to upgrade trinkets and have additional perks unlock because of it. COMBAT Combat still feels fun and smooth this time around but I still feel as if parry is too strong, a lot of the enemies still don't feel very threatening because of how easy it is to parry. Im not entirely sure how we fix that without breaking it because blocking and parrying feel amazing. Dashing def needs more love and attention especially for the ranged builds IMO, its not nearly as strong or useful as the block/parry system is and doesn't quite seem to fill the role of it when you cannot block or parry. Maybe a perfect dodge system could be added in which you dodge at the right time like blocking and time is slowed but you move at a regular speed giving you an advantage in that moment or something along those lines. The enemy blocking is a nice addition I am just not sure if they are randomly blocking or will actually block at times they are getting wailed on. I only saw this with the last boss of EA in which I was parried and 1 shot in response which was super cool to see. WORLD / ENVIRONMENT I think holding off on ziplines was probably not the best move as the world is very big and having that option to go from your base to several locations far away relatively safe is nice but I also see the value of moving around in the world. It is called Grounded and I hope that immersive detail never changes which is why I think flying mounts will ruin this game. I think they can be added but will either have to have a limited amount of flight time or be like flight paths from an MMO type of game in which you can build like a tower, place a specific flying buggy there, hatch it and it will act as a waypoint of sorts. The second we get full flying mounts the majority of the time and effort spent crafting the amazing landscape goes away and the threat or navigating around bugs in a park goes away because people will just fly from A to B land get what they need then fly away. Other than that for now I think like with everyone I am excited to see more unique biomes but I am sure that is coming with the other 2 chapters. TLDR The EA is solid and has some wrinkles which is why EA is such a good idea for a game like this and I am very excited to see it evolve and grow. Great Job.
