  1. DOWNLOAD FROM THE NEXUS _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Ain't no one gonna tell you what you can and can't do with quest items! This is a simple mod that allows you to sell, destroy, and freely use equippable quest items. Before, you had to keep equippable quest items in an active party member's inventory or have them actively equipped. When party members with these items weren't in the active party, the item would automatically go to the stash- and you would have to re-equip the item. With this mod, that is no longer needed! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Items Affected: _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Installation: Download the .zip file of your choice and extract the contained folder to your override folder. The override folder is typically located at: \Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Compatibility: This mod should work with all versions of Pillars of Eternity 2 and it's expansions. This mod should be compatible with any other mod except anything that modifies the EquippableGameData ItemComponent of "IsQuestItem" of the items listed above. No Strings were used in the creation of this mod. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Version History: 1.0 - Innitial Release _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Tools Used: Visual Studio Code JSON Tools by Erik Lynd Markdown _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Like my mod? 2. It's always good to document what strings you use or modify ; that way other mod authors can work to make their mods more compatible. This is some more general info.
  3. DOWNLOAD FROM THE NEXUS _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Sick of having a gross looking, low quality, brown and blue cloak? Look no further! Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak is one of the best cloaks in the game, but seems to use a low resolution texture from a cloak in the original Pillars of Eternity. This mod changes the model, texture, inventory icon, and item icon to make it more appealing. The mod comes in two flavors: Normal - Replaces the appearance of Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak with that of the Champions Cloak (Requires Seeker, Slayer, Survivor) Vanilla - Replaces the appearance of Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak with that of the Dark Gray Cloak (Compatible with everything) _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Installation: Download the .zip file of your choice and extract the contained folder to your override folder. The override folder is typically located at: \Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Compatibility: Seeker, Slayer, Survivor is required for the normal version of this mod. If you do not have Seeker, Slayer, Survivor installed, you can use the Vanilla version instead. This mod should be compatible with any other mod except anything that modifies the EquippableGameData ItemComponents of "IconTextureSmall` and "IconTextureLarge", or the EquippableComponent of `ModelVisualDataPath" of Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak. 4. I think it would be great to have the Watcher be the antagonist for PoE 3. See how the Watcher's decisions in the previous games affect the world from a different perspective.
  5. I'd say Modwyr, but then I'd be unoriginal. So I'll say Pukestabber because my character is a raging alcoholic.
  6. Yeah, it doesn't look like it will change ship combat itself, but I (hopefully) may be wrong.
  7. I too, dislike negligible aprobal. They'll never probe me!
  8. Nadda clue. Maybe a dev will grace us with their presence and let us know!
  9. Yeah, Shoulda verified in my post- It was part of the patch that got rolled back with the turn-based combat update.
  10. I saw this on reddit last night. It looks like they are re-vamping ship combat: So apparently you can: 1) Board for no damage. 2) Enter ship combat as per the norm. 3) Intimidate to gain money/resources without combat. 4) Parley to try and get ships to stop attacking you without combat. Looks pretty snazzy. I hope they will fix ship combat to avoid loosing some unique items if you choose to not board. EDIT: It appears that this was part of the patch that got rolled back that also included turn-based combat.
  11. I'm going to go off on a limb and say that they will probably make it incompatible with Magran's Challenge or possibly Magran's Fires in general. Still a cool feature, though.
  12. I prefer RTWP, but I think it's a fantastic inclusion for players who prefer turn-based. I wonder how it will work with Magran's Challenge.
  13. My understanding from earlier posts is that It wasn't always the case. But I can confirm- I got delver's stew last night in the Wild Mare. Maybe you were lucky- 33% is pretty good odds for getting the item.
  14. It's still random for both Gorecci and the second floor of the Wild Mare- So it's not a sure-fire thing. In fact, on loading those particular areas there's a 33% chance of getting Bloatbelly Eel, 33% chance of getting Herfwarts, or 33% of getting Delver's Stew. Which are the three items in the loot list I specified earlier.
