Nefarious7 Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 So far, I've found the con of being a street fighter (+20% recovery) to be active much more than the benefits (flanked, bloodied). Anyone else farther in the game care to comment? It doesn't seem to be worth it so far.
Voltron Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 It's only good on solo as you are flanked in 95% of fights then. Works good with Fighter and Cleave Stance. But it's not really a strong subclass, though i combos quite well on solo with other classes. With party it's totally useless. [POE1] Nirvana Monk build- Tank/DPS monk for soloing PotD and Endless Paths. High anti CC build. [POE2] Sword Singer build - Tank/DPS War Caller or Herald build for solo PotD. High melee dmg, summons, + super tanky [POE2] BURN BABY BURN! - Solo PotD Ultimate burning/fire NUKE Votary build with superb AOE/Single Target flame and burn damage. [POE2] BLEAK HUNTRESS. Solo PotD Holy Slayer ranged sniper assassin build.
CountGrishnackh Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 im almost through my first run and im really really glad eder isnt able to go streetfighter as a swashbuckler. the deeper i got into the game, the easier it got, enemies die left an right and barely manage to group around eder before they die. hes never below 50% hp and flanking is rare. solo: yes absolutely full party: hell no
Nefarious7 Posted May 16, 2018 Author Posted May 16, 2018 Ok thanks guys. Exactly what I was looking for. Seems great on paper, but in my party you're right, it's useless. 1
Jmerc Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 You can trigger flanked on yourself with the blunderbuss modal. I'm currently doing a PotD run with a Streetfighter/Barbarian with double blunderbusses and its working well. If you're not into using guns, I think if you multiclass Streetfighter with Monk you can activate bloodied easily, but having not played much Monk I don't know the specifics. Using both the blunderbuss and monk multiclass you could activate both parts of the passive, which seems like it must be pretty good (nevermind that monk is OP anyways).
Queeg Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 In full party you can wield blunderbuss with its weapon ability activated to get flanked on you 100% of the time. If my post hasn't been edited yet, I'm still looking to find the error I made typing it.
Boeroer Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Make an Unbroken/Streetfighter build as main tank and judge again about its usefulness... Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Lokithecat Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 (edited) The Blunderbuss trick works great, built a gimmick toon (with Devoted, multiclass) that way myself. The -20% ? from the class, ends up turning into a permanent +30% (with the 50% from Distracted, which makes you flanked), and if you get your HP low enough to trigger the other part (Bloodied?) its insanely fast. Only thing you really have to watch out for, the Blunderbuss Modal will Friendly Fire your other team mates who are trying to melee whoever you're shooting at. Edited May 16, 2018 by Lokithecat

I know the actual broken part is the Brilliant Inspiration, but a Streetfighter with permanent Barring Death's Door & 50 deflection from Enduring Shadows / Shadowing Beyond is a great conduit for it. Kill safely On the Edge. As said before, it's pretty trivial to get flanked via the blunderbuss modal if you can't get flanked.
