AndreaColombo
I’d rather lower damage than to make things slower, though. Anything that isn’t DW is already well into “stare at recovery and yawn” territory; let’s not drag DW in there too. Edited April 19, 2018 by AndreaColombo 2 "Time is not your enemy. JibSail
Reading through this I was wondering how weapon damage scales, if at all, with character level. Also planning on having a look at that dps spreadsheet tonight. I might be able to get a quick js calculator up over the weekend. Will let you guys know if it pans out. Boeroer
Weapon damage only gets improved with dmg bonuses (from ability, MIG, enchantment and so on). It doesn't scale with level. Your accuracy does though. Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods

Anything that isn’t DW is already well into “stare at recovery and yawn” territory; let’s not drag DW in there too. Exactly other styles need to come up to be on par with Dual wield. Nerfing DW further will make everything “stare at recovery and yawn” recovery times are the worst thing about the current build imho and DW is one of the very few things that feels right/good on the recovery front at the moment. Gfted1
What do NPC's do after they have executed a command? Meaning, say I fire off a Magic Missile, then the "recovery" time kicks in, then what happens? Does the NPC revert to auto-attacking with whatever weapon is equipped or do they just stand there waiting for the next command from the player? Boeroer
Depends - if you turn on AI and made a good script the char does whatever the AI thinks is best. If you turned off AI then the char goes into idle mode and does nothing until you command him to do something else. 1 Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
