Hey guys, i just wanted to ask if anyone knows the game's price on release?

I'm basically thinking whether it's better to just back the game right now for 35 bucks or i'm better off waiting for the game's release and picking it up then.

I have no idea what it will cost at release, but given how big the game is, I'd be surprised if it didn't cost more than $35. So I'd grab it now rather than later, if I were you.

I'll do it, for a turnip.

Most probably it won't cost less that 35 on release.

It's usually the case that games are cheaper to back than they are to buy at release so as to encourage people to back them. Of course they'll probably be cheapest during a sale a while after they've been out, but if you intend to buy Deadfire at release then it's almost certainly cheapest to buy it now.

Yeah, i guess you're right guys.

It's just that it's still kinda expensive, when you live in a EU country with ****ty economy, so you end up having Western European prices with Eastern European salaries

It's an unfortunate reality of the world.

Yeah I feel you. Polish prices were getting a bit better since they introduced polish currency in GOG and its coming to steam as well. How the game will be priced remains to be seen. Tyranny was much cheaper for me, if I remember that right.

Well, i'm in Lithuania, so we have worse salaries than Poland with higher prices in euros

I live in a country with bad currency too but i cough up $65 USD though. that's quite a huge amount here.

Used to be normal here, then this happened (0:14):

Welp, i guess i've backed the game now.

Backing the game gets you as cheap as it can get for fresh release honestly.

I don't *know*, but going on trends I wouldn't be surprised to see it priced at 50 bucks at release. Honestly, backing it at 35 and getting the twenty dollar DLC season pass will probably save you money over buying at release and getting each DLC as it's released.

It will only cost you your soul!
