Umbersona Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Can we please see some of these beautiful Dwarven ladybeards in Deadfire that were sorely lacking in PoE? 3 Check me out on Twitch, I stream for charity! https://www.twitch.tv/umbersona
Ethics Gradient Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Wait? So, how's that going to work for NPC romance options? If my character is looking settle down with a nice dwarven shieldmaiden, must one court every dwarf they find and hope it works out? 1
injurai Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I googled out of curiousity. Can't tell if lady dwarf or amish weeaboo. 5
Karkarov Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Alright now ladybeardersona enough is enough, look what you made injurai post. Meanwile, that is definitely a amish weaboo, not a lady dwarf. She does have really cute mittens though. 5
TheisEjsing Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Well, I woke up an hour ago, and this is already enough internet for today. 10
PhantomEidolon Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 You call that a beard? This is a proper dwarven beard. 2 You can't make an omelette without ruthlessly crushing dozens of eggs beneath your steel boot and then publicly disemboweling the chickens that laid them as a warning to others. ~Tarquin
Karkarov Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Just waiting for the Coalition for a Dwarven Companion in Deadfire to show up in masse for this thread, it will be something to see for sure.
JerekKruger Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Are female dwarfs in Eora described as having beards in the lore?
morhilane Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Are female dwarfs in Eora described as having beards in the lore? No, they don't have beards. 1 Azarhal, Chanter and Keeper of Truth of the Obsidian Order of Eternity.
Umbersona Posted September 28, 2017 Author Posted September 28, 2017 That they don't have beards is a travesty. How are we just ok with the systematic hair removal of an entire gender? It's a Dwarven rights violation. 4 Check me out on Twitch, I stream for charity! https://www.twitch.tv/umbersona
Ethics Gradient Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Are female dwarfs in Eora described as having beards in the lore? No, they don't have beards. Well, they don't have beards.... so far. Patiently waits for the next update detailing the bearded seafaring dwarves of the Deadfire archipelago. 1
Guest Blutwurstritter Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 And i always thought Sagani was a beadless mutant; I only took her along out of pity ...
Varana Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 (edited) Are female dwarfs in Eora described as having beards in the lore? No, they don't have beards. And that is why Pillars is a great game. Edited September 28, 2017 by Varana 4 Therefore I have sailed the seas and come To the holy city of Byzantium. -W.B. Yeats Χριστός ἀνέστη!
rjshae Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I'd heard a rumor that the dwarven ladies' beards are located further south. Playing a half-naked barbarian female dwarf could get a little hairy I suppose. "It has just been discovered that research causes cancer in rats."
Ethics Gradient Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 And i always thought Sagani was a beadless mutant; I only took her along out of pity ... If I recall correctly, it's actually a pretty sad story. She had to sell her beard to a wizard in order to afford passage from Naasitaq. Her quest to find Persoq required far more sacrifice than the player ever knew. 3
