Keldrad Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Good day. 1) Rouge Ape card don't have the Animal trait. Is this correct? 2) Gale Armor have the Light Armor Trait, but in cart text use heavy armot trait. Is this correct?
0 Hannibal_PJV Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 1) yes, it is correct. 2) not sure of this....
0 mccrispy Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) The Gale Armour inconsistency must be a bug, but I don't know whether it's Light or Heavy. There two ways to find out: one you won't like (find out whether it Banishes if Merisiel tries to Bury it for Damage reduction), the other is safe (see whether Merisiel can Recharge it during Reset). 0 Longshot11 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 The Game Armour inconsistency must be a bug, but I don't know whether it's Light or Heavy. There two ways to find out: one you won't like (find out whether it Banishes if Merisiel tries to Bury it for Damage reduction), the other is safe (see whether Merisiel can Recharge it during Reset). In all honesty, this doesn't prove anything besides what Trait the programmer took to be true... You can use the 'Mark Solved' button beneath a post that answers your topic or confirms it's not a bug. The time that devs don't have to spend on the forum is a time they can spend on fixing the game.
0 RedPred Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Yep, it could also be that is a Light Armor with Heavy Armor behavior. In other words you can recharge it freely and it doesn't apply the penalty without heavy armor proficiency (but you can't bury it in that case)
0 stevozip Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 There are a few different armors that have this identity crisis.
0 RedPred Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Looking for an interpretation, they could be Heavy Armor with lower requirements but with an important handicap: they can't be buried.
0 mccrispy Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 There are a few different armors that have this identity crisis. Yes, and some corrections as typos. For instance, Superior Leather Armour had IIRC exactly the same identity crisis, but was errata'd to Light. The question if whether this is a common error (from template copy/paste perhaps), or intentional. I don't have my physical game to hand to be able to check (if indeed Gale Armour is in the physical game - it's not in the errata file so I couldn't check the text)
0 elcoderdude Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Rogue ape is a sentient being. It's not like a rogue elephant. "Rogue" is its class. Hence the Rogue trait on the card. 1
