Saravoks armor?

Recommended Posts

It hinders the use of your force powers.

So what? I used armor all through KotOR, the only time I took it off was the last battle where you HAD to use force powers.

When I do 100 points of damage a round, who gives a rats arse about force powers?

Your hostility drives you from the light side of the force, young Gruberman.... Be at peace and listen to the way of Tae Kwon Leap.

Saravok's armor is also a ghastly fashion statement in the KotOR universe. You should stick with loose fitting robes and soft, fabric footwear. It's all very high tech these days.

You are free to live and die as a softy robe wearing light sider, but I am too good for that. I want spikes and sharp edges on the outside to reflect my inner power!

It's waaayyyy too medieval. You'd be the laughing stock of the Sith world. Your intimidating armor needs to look futuristic.

Here's what the fashion-conscious Sith wears:

I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you

But I get the feeling that you don't like it

What's with all the screaming?

You like monkeys, you like ponies

Maybe you don't like monsters so much

Maybe I used too many monkeys

Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you?

I didn't have to take my armor off at all.

I'm not sure what force powers you were using, but when using Force Wave you can leave your armor on.

Could work well with an ancient Sith theme. Old school Sith seem much more powerful than their new futuristic counterparts. Might I suggest wielding a particularly nasty Sith blade instead of a lightsaber with that awesome armor?

the last battle where you HAD to use force powers.

Why do you say that? I believe you can kill the last boss with just your lightsaber if you are a jedi guardian (weapon specialisation for lightsabers) and if you have 18 or more STR...

Well, I only played through once, so I am sure it is different with different bozo jedi's, but you had to deactivate the trapped jedi to keep that puss malak from draing them and healing about 10 times. The only powers I had that affected them were the drain life set, so no armor.

i either didn't have any force powers that worked on those critters or was too dumb to work out which one to use. anyhow i had to kill him a dozen or so times. v frustrating. basically involved running around a lot and ingesting medpacks.

That makes sense now.

Personally I think that was lame, they should have had an option to attack the pods directly with a lightsaber.

Or kill him while he drained them, in D20 we should get an attack while he is draining them.

I just attacked HIM with my lightsaber, again, again, and again.

Damn fool kept regenarating whilst i kept removing parts of his anatomy.

It wouldn't have been so bad if he had just accepted defeat the first time, he had to be a loser 7 times over, bah.

What's really sad is the only way they could make that fight even remotely challenging (and I use the term loosely) was to give him that regeneration method.

The whole Star Forge was a mindless grindfest.

I think that it was made a grindfest on purpuse by the devs, in order to make you feel really powerful. Noone stood a chance against the former dark lord of the Sith.

They could have done the same thing with a few well placed powerbattles.

Instead we got a peon-horde.

Cutting threw an army of 5th level or so characters doesn't really make me feel powerful. ;)
