Darkpriest
Apparently, if it's not fake, the movie got trailer and will be in the cinemas in 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AQ-tn9gGvI While for me the Warcraft franchise finished with Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, I'm mildly interested in the movie.

Blarghagh
It's real. Directed by Duncan Jones, who made Moon and Source Code (and used to be named Zowie Bowie).
Maedhros
Looks like they're trying to capture the "Warcraft look", instead of going gritty and realistic. I like it, I think.
Blarghagh
It was originally slated for December 18, but then Star Wars' release date was placed and Legendary flinched.

Darkpriest
Yep, it's the orcs being corrupted, Medivh opening the portal and the orcs coming in to murder Stormwind's face. Does it mean we might have an actual series of movies that will finish with the Frozen Throne theme? I'd dig it, if the first one will be at least decent
Blarghagh
I believe that's the idea, and I would love to see an Arthas movie, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Typical Blizzard, one movie and they have to make it pro-Orc. If it makes you feel any better, if they make a second one it'll end with the Orcs getting their faces murdered and put into concentration camps. Now that, I would like to see, maybe if it is side by side with Metzen's tears at his race being brutalized. Tale
The preview footage from a convention, maybe Blizzcon, that leaked a while back was somewhere at the intersection of creepy and boring. Malcador
People deeply knowledgeable about Warcraft lore scare me. You'll have to forgive me, I'm not good at metric-imperial conversion. Edit: Okay, I just watched the teaser. Blarghagh
Sorry Malc. I started with Orcs & Humans at release, so 21 years. Which probably explains why I can't leave WoW behind. Because nothing says sympathetic characters like casual ritual sacrifice. This is probably why Durotan is looking like the lead orc. He was against this stuff from the start. Darkpriest
I started with Warcraft when i was what, early teen i think, but when the WoW came out, I just refused to play it. By then I had awesome RTS series along with Starcraft and I had also the best PvP MP game ever created originating from Warcraft 3 - DotA, mother of all modern age MOBAs Edited November 3, 2015 by Darkpriest

Oerwinde
Warcraft has a lot of good lore behind it. If they don't drop the ball this could be a big franchise. Hurlshort
I think I was about 12 when I played the first Warcraft. It was a pretty amazing game at the time. THen WoW recaptured that imagination. The first time I explored a keep was great.
