Well to be fair its just one article on the Middle East page and they cover everything else? Also its about the extinction of a species of bird so I would say its relevant ? Meshugger
Just as you guys know; I would gladly suffer the diplomatic consequences for going full Col. Kurtz in ISIS-controlled areas. Guerilla tactics would be used for kidnapping random fighters and chop of random limbs and returned later as a message of the incoming terror. Then i would drop bombs of pig blood over their strongholds and deploy female snipers around them. I would use propaganda to know that their friends have been killed by a woman and therefore denied access to heaven. I would have rape dungeons with butch man-hating lesbians with strap-ons would be used for interrogation and to ultimately break their spirit. Tanks would be deployed with loud death metal music and absolutely no mercy shall be given for hiding behind civilians. I am talking about full scale crush on their spirit, mandalorian-style. Then i would drop a couple hydrogen bombs to clean out the remaining rats. Ahh, feels much better now. Ignore what i just wrote. Malcador
It's just another thing ISIS is doing, nothing wrong with raising attention about it nor is it suggesting that this is the worst they've done. Frankly I've ISIS savagery fatigue at this point. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

Hurlshort
Maybe Walsingham wasn't being sarcastic about the story, because these types of events are important to me. They show that ISIS isn't just waging a war against states, they are waging a war against culture and history. It's the reason I hated the Taliban before it was cool to do so. http://www.nytimes.com/2001/03/19/world/19TALI.html

Good observation If its any consolation they cannot change history because that is there intention. Everything is accurately recorded ...they will just destroy the objects and buildings "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. Walsingham
All I'm pointing out is that this should not be even a story. To me it's evidence of how far the BBC has drifted from its notional emphasis on quality reporting. Either that or it's evidence that the British public don't give a **** about ISIS unless they're killing four endangered birds, at which point it's a big deal. So of of my nation's greatest achievements is ****ed, or my nation as a whole is. 1 "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Even though you were joking there is still some truth in this, fighting terror with terror can be very effective. I gazed at the dead, and for one dark moment I saw a banquet. It's adding to the list of bad things ISIS does and why you should be ok with them being killed (I did have to laugh at an unrelated article saying that not every ISIS member deserves death, heh). Pretty sure BBC reported on the other horrors ISIS has done or has been reported as doing. Wonder how long this will go until US troops get comitted, seems the Iraqis can't do the job.
