Valmy Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Not sure where else to put this. If you click on the link to the game here: https://www.paradoxplaza.com/news/Pillars-of-Eternity-Has-Gone-Gold/ It takes you to a 404 Not Found page. The link seems to be trying to take you to a Paradox page that does not exist instead of to Obsidian's site. That is a bad first impression for anybody finding the game through that announcement.
DruidX Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 yea the "eternity.obsidian.net." link needs to be fixed Join the Orcz and help scribe everything that goes on in the world of Pillars of Eternity! The Unofficial Pillars of Eternity Wiki
Stun Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Yeah, the link is to the wrong URL Here's the correct one BTW http://eternity.obsidian.net/news/pillars-of-eternity-has-gone-gold
dorkboy Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I guess the image link is wrong, as well, as it just refreshes the page. This statement is false.
Osvir Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) eternity.obsidian.netLooks like Paradox missed a "http://" in the HTML, if I understand it correctly.EDIT: Comparing with the buy link:(http://)buy.pillarsofeternity.comNo difference except the "http://". Parenthesis & bold for clarification (and without, it became an unclear/difficult to read link in this post). Edited March 17, 2015 by Osvir
Valmy Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) Yeah that is it Osvir, if they do not put in the http:// then it defaults to the Paradox site causing the problem. Edited March 17, 2015 by Valmy
Elerond Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Article's writer/poster(s) have made mistake in trusting their portals publishing systems, which have automatically added "https://www.paradoxplaza.com/news/Pillars-of-Eternity-Has-Gone-Gold/" (on Paradox's page) and "http://eternity.obsidian.net/news" (on Obsidian's page) in front of eternity.obsidian.net
Valmy Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Still not fixed! Is there anybody specific I can alert about this?
Osvir Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Yes. Contact Paradox. But you found this after office hours, and it's currently minutes before office hours (In Sweden). It'll probably be fixed during the day here.
ManifestedISO Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Paradox and Obsidian at Tanagra, when the walls fell 1 All Stop. On Screen.
