You are the Prisoner in this - the biggest ever - Fallout game. P.S. Can someone tell me how to change my nickname? I'm stuck with my old nickname currently -Hexer Edited October 5, 2014 by Eddie 4 I have nothing special to say here.
HoonDing Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Wouldn't Zenimax C&D this? The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Eddie Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 Wouldn't Zenimax C&D this? I talked with them in January and they are cool with it as long as we stay away from Fallout2.exe I have nothing special to say here.
sorophx Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 just write a PM to one of the moderators Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. And having been educated solely by mkreku in this respect I am convinced that Finland essentially IS the wh40k universe.
Lexx Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Wouldn't Zenimax C&D this? What is this with people always assuming Zenimax / Bethesda would C&D everything? I am not exactly the biggest fan of them, but damn, their stance towards modders really is very positive. As far as I can remember, the only project where they asked modders to stop was that Morrowind to Oblivion port. Here the modders copy&pasted all of that stuff over to Oblivion, which obviously is not ok. Especially if this means that Morrowind won't be required anymore for playing the game. In any case, if in doubt there is one simple rule: Don't post about your mod over at the Bethsoft fora. Then the moderators don't have to remove your stuff and tell you to please stop. As for the Fallout stuff: We worked on FOnline since 2009 and never in all the years we heard any complaints from anyone over at Bethesda. It simply didn't matter for them. But if you ask them first... Well, chances are high that they prohibit it, because that's what they need to do to keep their property and copyright stuff in line. 1 "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
Hurlshort Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 As long as they aren't charging people, it's not an issue. But most companies will C&D if you try to profit off their IP. 1
Lexx Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Of course, but this isn't the case here. Modders rarely charge for money anyway. "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
redneckdevil Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Sweet googly moogly, will definitly be following this.
HoonDing Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 So vampires do exist in Fallout universe? And here I was thinking that FO3 sidequest was utter nonsense. 1 The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Bryy Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 That is decidedly retro. Kudos on getting permission.
