Lephys
I can't get to it while at work (which is where I am for the next 5+ hours). I'd recommend questions to ask, but I tend to only think of things that other people have already thought of, 8P. I'll just stick to this thread, and androidishly analyzing everything everyone else asks that comes up in here, haha. Should we not start with some Ipelagos, or at least some Greater Ipelagos, before tackling a named Arch Ipelago? 6_u
LadyCrimson
I still barely know what reddit is, let alone have an account there to ask a question. But I will be reading. “Things are as they are. Bryy
Eh, Reflex sounds very much like a useless stat that Dexterity/Speed could just eat up.

Greensleeve
Eh, Reflex sounds very much like a useless stat that Dexterity/Speed could just eat up. Reflex is a stat? No Reflex is one of the four defences. It'd be pretty hard for a primary stat to eat up a secondary one, given Josh's focus on unified mechanics. So no, I wouldn't say it seems useless or redundant. Lephys
Yeah, sorry, I was confused. I've never really heard the phrase "eat up" be used like that, either. So, I was doubly confused. Figured maybe there was some revolutionary change to Reflexes announced in the AMA or something. BruceVC
I wonder if someone asked if Obsidian has changed there mind about the implementation of Romance? ManifestedISO
Hassat should be pumped, they mentioned favorably his Knights II Restored Content Mod. Other than that, the bit about combat attack/damage rolls was all I saw worth much. "Too verbose" sounds good to me, for that kind of data. All Stop. On Screen. Leferd
I wonder if someone asked if Obsidian has changed there mind about the implementation of Romance? [–]Jexlz 12 points 5 hours ago I think you recently said you won't include romances in the game. They are almost standard in these kinds of games. What was your reason for not including them? permalink [–]obsidian-badlerObsidian Entertainment 29 points 5 hours ago Josh's response was that he didn't feel we could do them well with the time and resources that we have available to make the game. Take it from the guy who makes the schedules, he isn't wrong. Romances are very expensive to do well and we would have to cut things from the game to make them properly. permalinkparent 1 "Things are funny...are comedic, because they mix the real with the absurd." - Buzz Aldrin."P-O-T-A-T-O-E" - Dan Quayle

JFSOCC
Okay that is the same reason that gave on the Eurogamer article, damn Their answer to questions about modding tools elicited a similar responses from me. Remember: Argue the point, not the person. Remain polite and constructive. Friendly forums have friendly debate. There's no shame in being wrong. If you don't have something to add, don't post for the sake of it. And don't be afraid to post thoughts you are uncertain about, that's what discussion is for.---Pet threads, everyone has them.
