Bester
Even is they add super shadows and shocking anti-aliasing, that won't change the models with 3 polygons on which things are drawn with textures, like in Orgrimmar giant ropes were not actually ropes on walls, but textures. Same thing here, but on player models. Wow, that's lame. Their spells - waste of text. They could've taken things straight from TES games, but they chose to make it less imaginative than my toilet room. Plus, like I said, graphics from the times of LA2. I was expecting bad, but this blew me away. Why are the graphics so important to you? Don't get me wrong, I thought the game looked lackluster too, but because it looked like it played just like most of the billion other MMOs out there, except with an Elder Scrolls coat of paint on it. It's a matter of expectation versus reality. I can play games with ASCII graphics, but they made it with graphics and it just looks horrible for 2012, which I can live with, but.... The animation is exactly like in AOC, which I hated, and the models are like in Korean MMOs which I hated. And I wanted so much to love this game. Don't we already have enough of generic MMOs as it is? The character creation is bad, the starting location is a copy of the starting location in AOC, the class system is generic, this whole situation is like a bad dream. I wish they never announced and released anything. I thought they were serious about it and it turned out they only tried to save every penny instead of really going ahead with this game. They promised to make me a nice steak and they give me a cold hotdog. I wish they never promised anything. Undecaf
Skyrim done, Bethesda moving to their next "our best game" presumably Skyrim with Guns Fallout 4. I'm kinda hoping it isn't a Fallout game, but something else. entrerix
wow, i'm actually really disappointed that bethesda never bothered to include spears in the dlc since spear weapons were being requested so heavily for skyrim for the past several years... oh well, im kinda burned out on skyrim anyway. i hope they announce fallout 4/TES 6 soon so i can once again start asking for features they wont include Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. Morgoth
wolfenstein 3d was my very first fps game I'm not exactly a big Wolfenstein fan, but this is being developed by MachineGames, who are composed of Starbreeze vets. Darkness 1 and Riddick were underrated, excellent games. I'm looking forward to what these guys are cooking up. Rain makes everything better. LadyCrimson
Barbwires and Johann Sebastian Bach Jawohl. In other words, Wolfenstein announcement incoming! From all the screencap attempts, including my own, I don't get a particular Wolfenstein vibe from that tease. I don't get much of any vibe, really, except old soundtracks/music, which could be used in any kind of game. Whether that music gives other people a sense of clue, I dunno. It'd be nice if it was more Fallout or a new IP tho. (and yes I know they've tried to debunk the Fallout idea...they could be misdirecting/lying ) “Things are as they are. LadyCrimson
I should probably ask, where is the information about this new teased game is being developed by MachineGames? I heard Hines was in some place the other week that relates to MG, but that doesn't mean the game that is being teased now actually has anything to do with that? “Things are as they are. You learn these things by snooping around a bit. There have been many Linkedin profiles lately that suggest a Wolfestein is indeed in development, and launching in 2013. Makes sorta sense for Bethesda to announce it now. And it's not Fallout 4 because it's not 2014 yet. Remember, Bethesda releases their own games in a 3 year intervall. And it's not Fallout 4 because it's not 2014 yet. Remember, Bethesda releases their own games in a 3 year intervall. Hm. Ok, I can buy that. If that's true tho, I'd be kinda disappointed. I liked the original Wolfenstein but that was ages ago and I wasn't impressed by what I saw of the newer one. I don't really see it as such a popular IP to make yet another version of it. I don't really expect it to be Fallout, since it does seem a bit too soon (altho you could argue that NV was made by Obsidian, in terms of timeline between games) but I was hoping for a new IP. I always do. Get tired of nothing but sequels. And even if it was Fallout, not sure I'd be terribly interested without Obsidian involved. It's fun to speculate about tho. “Things are as they are.
