Not really sure where to put this, however this is the closest place I can think of -

Flying Frog Productions (Last Night on Earth, Invasion from Outer Space, A Touch of Evil) is kickstartering a new game -

Shadows of Brimstone is a fast-paced, Cooperative, dungeon-crawl boardgame set in the Old West, and mixed with Unspeakable Horror!

Players create characters, taking on the role of a classic Western Hero Archetype, such as the Law Man, Gunslinger, or Saloon Girl. Forming an adventuring posse, the Heroes venture down into the dark mines, overrun with all manner of ancient demons and foul creatures from another world. With tactical gameplay, lots of dice, and a robust card-driven exploration system, no two games are ever the same as the Heroes explore the mines finding new enemies to fight, new Loot to collect, and new dangers to overcome. Players can even find portals to other worlds, stepping through to continue their adventures on the other side!

I've liked some of the other FFP games, and this seems like it could be the physical game equivilent of an "Icewind Dale" type dungeon adventure.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1034852783/shadows-of-brimstone

Currently they've more than met their goal and have 5 days remaining to try and hit some more stretch goals, if anyone is interested.

There's a lot of board games at the moment, with a few new RPG supplements in between:

  • Advanced Bestiary for the Pathfinder RPG -- This is an update of Green Ronin's 2005 Advanced Bestiary for the d20 system. What's an advanced bestiary, you might ask? Well apparently it's a series of monster building templates. KS succeeding at $25K.
  • ElfWood for Sixcess -- a fantasy setting book for RPGs based upon the Sixcess system. Their focus is on "wonky" game settings that are twisted versions of long established game tropes. Currently at $1K/3K with 35 days to go.

f4235a4042039b383b84604f2e576c00_large.j

  • Atlantis: Geographica RPG Supplement -- A companion book for the Atlantis RPG. "The Geographica details the people and culture of the antediluvian world once ruled by the kingdom of Atlantis." Succeeding at $11K with 14 hours to go.
  • OmegaZone Instant setting for the Fate Accelerated RPG -- "Post-apocalpytic Los Angeles meets Cimmerian Pulp Adventure with a heavy dose of Gamma World in this new RPG setting." Now that sounds twisted. Presently at $3K.5.5K with a week to go.

I don't believe it's been mentioned yet. Demon the Descent, the newest gameline in the World of Darkness from Onyx Path (previously known as White Wolf), currently has a Kickstarter going. It's been running for fifteen days now and is currently succeeding (successful) at $102,749 with fifteen days to go. The genre is spy intrigue with "techgnostic espionage," citing "The Matrix," "Burn Notice," "Person of Interest," "Fringe," and more as inspirations along with John Le Carré books such as "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy". From my reading of what's available, I feel confident in saying you can (eventually) be a Bond or Bourne or Bauer or a (B)amalgam. Pretty excited to play this someday :)

There will also be an AMA later today at 2 pm EST (presumably) in this section: http://reddit.com/r/rpg

I'll try to pop back here with the actual link when it's posted. Think that's it for now though. *shambles off*

Wow, this looks pretty much like a The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch RPG. With biomechanical monstrosities and some faint Kult vibes. Awesome.

I like the Crios one. Although I'm not convinced by the published material. It really needs some examples. I mean I could hack together a simple fantasy in ww1 mashup using a boot full of mud, tinned beef, and a smell of burning wire.

Earthdawn 4th Edition

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/783548120/earthdawn-4th-edition

My favourite system, it is like D&D except it makes sense (In this world, there is a perfectly good reason to have dungeons with treasures and monsters,... and so on)

The Earthdawn Franchise has been a bit of a mess, with Fasa abandoning it, RedBrick and another company acquiring it and taking it into different directions, then Fasa re-acquiring it recently.

The Earthdawn setting is a precursor to the more well-known Shadowrun setting.

"The Hunted: A Game of Medieval Magic, Mischief and Mayhem"

"The Hunted is a game of medieval magic, mischief and mayhem. The society in which the game takes place is one of great superstition. Many believe in omens, portents and the supernatural. In this culture witches are real, monsters lurk in the night and what’s scariest of all is that they might be your friends, neighbors, or even family. The church is constantly battling the encroaching heretics, keeping the seed of corruption from spreading within their communities. Those who are found to be against the church are killed for their crimes.

This is where our “heroes” come in. They have been called by a mysterious Dark Benefactor. It gives them power and leaves them with one purpose: Chaos. They are to personally see to the downfall of the three authority figures, The Lord of the Land, the Priest, and the Watch Captain. They are to remove these people from power by any means necessary. The characters must maintain the façade of living normal lives while working against the community. This will not be an easy task, however. The player characters must build their strength and power by causing mayhem in the town, if they hope to stand any chance against those who would stop them.

The authorities will not take kindly to this however, and do everything in their power to stop the impending chaos. The town will become more paranoid, neighbor turning on neighbor, brother turning on brother. Homes will be searched, blood will be shed, and people will be burned in an attempt to root out the heresy. The players’ actions will decide who will be the hunter and who will be… The Hunted." $595 of $2,000 goal

It's a bit of an underdog but it sounds interesting enough, a little bit of everything in that you cooperate while somewhat compete to survive.

Not to Hijack the thread but I believe this following post doesn't warrant a thread dedicated to itself.

I do believe it complements this thread though but apologies if not.

Creature Caster: First Wave - 1 day Left - 951% funded.
These "miniatures" are actually huge... standing 7+ inches.

Not sure how people view them on here as I am just getting into the PnP side of the RP world but I would imagine them as supreme beings, god-like demons, deities, manifestations of the gods or their handmaidens, etc.
