Uhm wait, just to clarify: There is no way to be kicked out of the order, is there?

 

And I do not mean the donation of 8$ since nobody will control that.

I mean in regard to behaviour in the Order.

The title marks the spirit of a certain time, and it's an approval of this spirit. If someone should really misbehave badly it's up to the moderators what to do with him. And you can't buy reputation with a title.

 

I had not in mind to take back the title because I agree with you on this: It's bound the donation of 8$ to support OE, and not to specific behaviour.

 

Right now the Order is just one thing: A group of people who have only one thing in common, which is the donation of additional 8$.

But I think as time passes by the Order will become more "dense".

You know what I mean? We get an IRC chat, we will get a website and so on.

 

We may become some kind of actual order.

And then the question will arise at some point how we handle rude behaviour among members of our order.

 

Once again, taking back the title would be no option.

But as a first reaction you could declare someone "shunned", which mean

we don't recognize this person any longer belonging to our order.

As always there can be times it is better to part ways. But I don't think this is an especially urgent topic. There are some populary accepted rules for behaviour everyone has to follow and no title relieves you from this. Being part of a community also means to respect the rules of conduct the community chooses. Otherwise... see my first sentence.

Fear not my fluffy brother you are a key part of our power and just because you can't feed on our ranks doesn't mean there aren't plently of tasks suited to your particular sugery talents.

 

Besides i'm sure we have lots of enemies for you to gorge yourself on.

 

But wouldn't that turn them into weremarshmallow, and do they then belong to our order. Else they might strengthen our enemies.

 

To imprudently let loose a weremarshmallow, could turn into a nemesis.

Hehe, its funny, the OE by nature means we are an Order born supporting the game company Obsidian. Eternity @ the end suggests for project Eternity, i mean, The Obsidian Order of Eternity and South Park dont realy go lol. Although i think any new "High Fantasy" games after PE by OE would be most welcome news indeed, ie IWD3..................

I still think that marshmallow avatar needs to have tiny fangs added to it. So cute and fluffy... or is it?!

 

Good morning OO!

After endless days of wandering, I arrive at last, here;

To pledge my sword, my forces, my life and everything that I own to the cause,

defence, honour and further knowledge of the Obsidan Order and Eternity.

 

 

One more year of anticipation and reminiscing about good old times awaits me.

Luckly my loyal companions GoG, Satori and Jack Herer will accompany me on this journey.

Even tho this trip may seem long or distant, it shall not pass in vain.

As I will rise up high as dragon, and the enemies of the Order will be struck down.

I have no idea what mine would be..... hmmmmm... I shall have to ponder this. My reasons for choosing this name was pretty uninspiring, I'm only little 5'2, and I pretty much always play as a rogue.... so........

I guess you could also just be a state of perpetual pettite death, more like a conceptual state of being, than a physical identity..

When Obsidian questions what you like to have for the extra pledge, they could offer the membership.
