A big stretch goal for three million bucks? I think they will try to come up with something interesting, but for now, it's a big mystery

If I were to hazard a mighty good guess, it's UPGRADING the player house into a class specific stronghold ala Crossroad Keep in NWN2.

It's Feargus standing at the top of the mountain, throwing off the Paladin class before anyone gets the chance to play it.

Paladins are not so bad. It's just that with the current overview, about, like, that there's no god and that aliens made us out of apes addin' their DNA to the apes' DNA... all that stuff rly weighs on paladins lately.

Obsidian really should reveal all their big-ass goals up to USD4million ASAP! The momentum of the Kickstarter has been puttering out, it's time to kindle the embers NOW!

It's not a momentum issue; it's a market saturation issue. Many of those who are likely to give by this means have already done so. Adding huge goals that are unlikely to be achieved may not help much. I think they've done a good job of adding realistic, reachable goals.

Yeah, I also agree that we're running out of time.

 

They should do the same as inXile did. Commit to a full modding toolkit, that will only be worked on after the game is done and shipped.

However, at a 3.5 million goal instead of 3.

 

And I'd love to meet a few more companions along that road.

They explained the difficulty of doing a modding kit for this in the engine forum. But maybe in an expansion or such...
