Fleapants
On the other hand, it's pretty amusing to read through the somethingawful topic on AP and seeing people getting ephiphanies over the complex story. That f***ing game! As much as I love AP. It doesn't really have a complex story. Like at all. Its cool to find out details you didn't knew before on subsequent runs but its all pretty standard (though well done and executed) spy fiction with no interesting kinks. Its definitly Obsidians most standard plot so far (Though that isn't really the point here) The highlight by far are the charachters and the dialog related to them. That was a way bigger reward. The story/plot itself is way secondary. It's complex in the sense that it'll take you at least 3-4 playthroughs to get what's really going on, if you don't read guides and such beforehand. The plot itself is pretty is pretty basic, but your "choices-path" is the most non-linear that I've seen in any game. And yes, the characters and dialogue are awesome! Tale
Ben There, Dan That and Heroes of Might and Magic 5 Ben There, Dan That is fun enough for the 1.25 I payed for it . The writing is very strong, very funny, the item puzzles aren't anything exceptional. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater." Morgoth
Fired up the Sandbox 3 Editor (and promptly ordered another 4GB RAM ) and loaded the Battery Park level (the first one). What I noticed first was how many sound effects I could hear within the editor in the starting room, that you can't hear in the game however. Why is that? Is it because the game executable is only 32bit, thus not loading every sound effect into the RAM? Geez, really... Rain makes everything better. Tale
Beat Ben There, Dan That and followed it up with Time Gentlemen, Please. Good game too. Now I'm debating getting into Drakensang: River of Time. Bastion and SPAZ come out this week, so I won't be able to commit to it. Ice9
I finally got my fill of Football Manger 2011 and am now debating between replaying Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines or giving Metro 2033 a go. Well, that and crushing the free to play players in TF2 when the mood strikes me. Everything was beautiful. Nothing hurt.

I play. The server I regular has a good crowd, can't speak to pub hopping. It is pretty laid back and casual. Somewhat well admined. Ice9
There are about 100 million Valve servers. You should ignore those. They have no admin support and are full of the worst players. Everything was beautiful. Nothing hurt.

Occasionally, haven't tried it after it went F2P though and the free weekends did bring in some of the worst people. It's pretty much like any other PC multiplayer game with dedicated servers, all you need to do is find a few nice ones and stick to them. The PC Gamer UK server always had a nice crowd, for example. Tale
I should find a new server, really. I've been regularing a 24/7 2Fort instant respawn forever. But I: 1) hate instant respawn 2) hate 24/7 servers 3) hate instant respawn The sad part is that before I regulared this one, I regulared a 24/7 2Fort no crit server. Where I hate no crit more than instant respawn. But every time I find a server with default settings and a good rotation, it ends up being dead during off hours. This server is active all of the time. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

Tale
Receiving peer pressure to try Terraria, is this game any good in any of your estimations ? I have 52.1 hrs clocked and I enjoy it. If you're the type that enjoys just building stuff, I can easily recommend it. Not sure I can recommend it on the value of the dungeon delving.
