Sannom
From the announcement : In DUNGEON SIEGE III, players assume the role of one of four legionnaires in the crumbling kingdom of Ehb Should we consider this as 'proof' that there will be only four classes/characters in the game, or should we wait for more previews? It's vague. But yeah. Little disappointing. Then again. Diablo II had only one more at release. How many does III have by the way?
Bendu
Four are ok, if each of them has its own origin story at the begining. BTW: DSIII Box Art Edited February 3, 2011 by Bendu

WorstUsernameEver
Going by the box art, one of the characters is a girl that dual wields pistols. Weird choice.
Flouride
Four classes is certainly enough, they might add few later on with expansions/dlcs. Release date at the moment seems okay, though if L.A Noire gets pushed back a week or is massive hit like Red Dead Redemption that might hurt initial sales of DS3. Witcher 2 is also released 2 weeks prior to DS3. The box art looks sweet Hate the living, love the dead.
WorstUsernameEver
I don't think there's much of an overlap between L.A. Noire's audience and Dungeon Siege III. There might be some between TW2 and DSIII though. EDIT: Also, four "heroes" sounds okay when you consider that everyone of them has an origin and complete voice-acting and that it's likely that many side-quest will overlap and such. It probably would be prohibitively expensive to have more characters. Hopefully having only 4 "heroes" will make them distinctive enough while still giving you the ability to customize them even if right now it looks like the customization will be very limited. Bendu
Also interesting: PEGI 16 rating? PEGI 16This rating is applied once the depiction of violence (or sexual activity) reaches a stage that looks the same as would be expected in real life. More extreme bad language, the concept of the use of tobacco and drugs and the depiction of criminal activities can be content of games that are rated 16. There might be some between TW2 and DSIII though. Sure there is, L.A Noire is one of those games pretty much everyone is expected to buy, even some crpg fans. If you look at what Red Dead Redemption did to all competition back in 2009 that should give an example. Pretty much every game released during that time suffered and didn't pull the numbers that were expected. Hate the living, love the dead.

HoonDing
Any reason why it is coming out in Europe first? Normally this only happens for European developed games? The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Sannom
Obsidian tradition perhaps? From now on, each every two games, Obsidian's products will be released first in Australia, then in Europe, and then finally in the U.S. Seriously, maybe that it's because the 'western' division of Square Enix is actually old Eidos Interactives, and the headquarters of that company are in the UK?
