HoonDing
"Antoinette" I made a dumb but lucky character, purely in the hopes for funny dialogue & enemy mishaps. I raised 2 stats to superhuman levels to make up for the fewer skill points. Low strength because any armour beyond leather looks fugly and henceforth shall not be worn + my character will rely on stealth as much as possible (and otherwise run away rather than trying to eat something larger than her head). Tagged: Sneak, Guns, Speech Perks: Kamikaze (I'm a VATS whore), Wild Wasteland (more laughs) The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
HoonDing
Hahaha, oh wow. Sunny Smiles = worst Tutorial NPC of all time (or is this mayhap part of my LCK 10?) And to think I was planning on killing this lady myself for her leather armour. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

sorophx
oh wow, low intelligence really hurts your skills. for me even 16 skill points per level is not enough, I'm scared to think how much you get... by the way, anyone knows where the BoS main base is? also, if you decide to go to Vault 34 early in the game (lvl 10-13) make sure to bring a lot (I spent 20+ each) of RadX and RadAway. it's swarming with glowing ghouls and being inside nets you +2-5 rads per second. I wouldn't advise going in without the spacesuit and a tough companion (Veronica with her Power Fist might be a good idea). Hard oh wow, low intelligence really hurts your skills. for me even 16 skill points per level is not enough, I'm scared to think how much you get... Tale
I've found 3 or 4 skillbooks. Only one wasn't owned. :'( "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
sorophx
I had 5 skillbooks, all different, each gives only +4 to skills. and why would you not want to have lockpick and science at least at 80? really, there's no point in crawling in dungeons without these two Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. Enoch
Those are probably only skill magazines. They provide a temporary boost. The books that give you a permanent increase are rather rare.

Most terminals I've found have only required 25 science, most locks only 25 lockpicking. Most times that they don't, there's alternate ways around them. HoonDing
My Antoinette cannot even in easy computers & locks. That said, though, I thought she would be speaking in Ogre from the very beginning, but I fear I have been badly misled. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI. Tale
My next run is going to be a 8 Charisma "Bail, Jim Bail" superspy. I'm looking forward to it. With the silenced .22. sorophx
magazines give 10/20 point, but temporarily. I have a dozen on me at all times to help with a skillcheck when needed. I already saw a crapload of locks with average-to-hard difficulty. and also had to leave one trunk behind unopened (Vault 34, requires 100 lockpicking skill). same goes for computer terminals. most of them are at least average. but I already have science at 80 and lockpick at 60, so nothing a couple of magazines can't fix you can get a silencer for the 10 mm gun, it's pretty cool Edited October 22, 2010 by sorophx Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. Maria Caliban
I helped the Bright Brotherhood and their crew go to the Great Beyond. I have no idea where that is, but I expect to see a bit about it in the slide show. I even tinkered with the navigation to let them get 12.5% closer. I'm not sure what that means. After Novac, I hit the Helios plant and gave the juice to McCarren and the Strip. That's not at all because it's where I live now. The other two places I haven't visited yet, so I want to see if who they're aligned with. I finished five challanges so far. The Lord Death, the Explorer (no perk for that one ), Bug Stomper, Low-Tech Hack, and I think the Speech one. Made it to Camp Misery, but the game crashed. Haven't even gotten to Biship yet (main quest), and probably won't until I hit Black Mountain and Hidden Valley first. "When is this out. Tale
You can tinker with their navigation? That's boffo. I fully expect the slide show at the end to reveal they made it there. There being they crashed into the desert and died. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
