Serpent Isle was my first ever RPG...it took me around 5 years to actually pass the knight's test in that game (bloody secret doors!). I used to just wander around aimlessly, cheatmapping my way around the island looking at all the weird and wonderful sights. Then I found out how to pass the test and the whole plot opened up...great game!

Hmh, my purchase isn't going through. I'm afraid to try it for the 3rd time since I might end up with 3 copies of the 4 games I'm trying to buy.

Think I'll wait a bit since the site seems to be getting hammered a bit. The sale goes on for a long time so might as well wait a few days.

Well that's a shame and embarrasing for them. Gotta check if the purchases I tried were actually charged from my credit card. I guess I won't playing Dungeon Keeper or Temple of Elemental Evil tonite...

need to get Planescape when things settle down and servers aren't overloaded.

Everything seems working so will grab Ground Control 2, Crusader, Stronghold Crusader, DK2 and Tropico. Might take a gamble on Haegemonia and Runaway : A Road Adventure, anyone have an opinion on either ?

Runaway is pretty good.

Hmm i'm not buying anything before December 29th.

I liked Runaway. There's three games and GOG only has the first. Though the first is good as a standalone and probably the best of the bunch. 2 gets into some sort of alien conspiracy, but 3 skips over the consequences of that to get back into mobsters.

Went a bit overboard and got : PS:T, both Crusaders, WC 3 and Privateer, Caesar III, DK2, Runaway, Haegemonia, GC2, Tropico and SMAC.

 

Not a bad way to blow $50.
