obyknven Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 (edited) Hello all! Obsidian, make to me Muramasa-like fighting-rpg with cool look. In 2D sideview. With dialogues as in Planescape. Protagonist - a demon, as in the book "Bring Me the Head of Prince Charming" by Robert Sheckley and Roger Zelazny. Pleeaaaase!!!! P. S. 3d sucks ! Edited March 10, 2010 by obyknven
obyknven Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 I don't think they do requests.Because they are not able to do beautifully? Or they are afraid of experiments?
213374U Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Mostly because they are in this to make a living. - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
Purkake Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 That and they're not really into the whole anime thing AFAIK.
obyknven Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 That and they're not really into the whole anime thing AFAIK.It is unessential to use the anime thing. It may be looks like medieval pictures. Like this:
Diogo Ribeiro Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I don't think they do requests. Maybe they can do birthday parties ocasionally?
Alvin Nelson Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Maybe they can do birthday parties ocasionally? laf Let me get back to sleeping. I'm tired... Avatar made by Jorian Drake
Purkake Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I think you have to book them like 6 months in advance, they're in high demand. Maybe you could make me a game consisting of nothing but the letter "h"?
Morgoth Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Good grief, Obsidian and JRPGs... That was a grasp into the toilet. Rain makes everything better.
Purkake Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 (edited) Hey, maybe they could reinvigorate the whole genre? I would love a satirical JRPG made by a western developer, containing all the common JRPG tropes, but also having a serious message. Hmm, kind of like Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden... Or maybe a JRPG made in western RPG style to really bring out the differences? Seriously, we need more self-referential games that aren't totally ridiculous like Matt Hazard, but more like NOLF. Way too many games take themselves too seriously these days. Edited March 12, 2010 by Purkake
Morgoth Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Satirical games? No way man. Haven't you heard? Games are all serious business now. Rain makes everything better.

Yeah, there's that high school hentai sim with Monkey Island-like combat that Avellone always seems to be putting off working on, for some reason. Just give it some time. - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
Zachariah Tam Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 How about a game that has different protagonists from different cultures, one being Asian and the other more western. Whenever you get put into the POV of one of the protagonists the control style changes as well. JRPG format with the Asian, Western style for the other guy. If you have them in the same party for a bit you get weirdness.
Purkake Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Whoa dude, that's just crazy. crazy enough to work...?
Llyranor Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I'm pretty sure Sonic Chronicles 2 is one of their unannounced projects. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
HoonDing Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Western RPG If not for the "Square Enix", I'd think that was a Peter Molyneux presentation. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Masterfade Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Eagerly awaiting Obsidian's secret bishoujo game since 2003.
