Starwars Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Thanks, pretty good read. Wish it had been a bit lengthier though. Listen to my home-made recordings (some original songs, some not): http://www.youtube.c...low=grid&view=0
Purkake Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Great preview. I'm convinced that the pdf format was created by the Devil himself, no man is capable of something that devious. Why are people still using it again?
Warren Bills Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Great preview. I'm convinced that the pdf format was created by the Devil himself, no man is capable of something that devious. Why are people still using it again? my guess is to read on the go.. like a digital magazine? but then again.. it would make more sense making a digital mag(preview) for this game if it was a portable game. i used to make a lotta pdf files last year to read while on the train.

I can understand why you would make stuff to read on the go or wherever. The problem is the PDF format itself, it takes a ton of resources to run and doesn't really give much of an advantage compared to doc or even txt most of the time. They haven't managed to make a better pdf-like format in like ~8 years. Edited September 16, 2009 by Purkake

Darth InSidious Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Not much new info, but it is interesting about Obsidian's preferred board games. No love for Crate Escape? This particularly rapid, unintelligible patter isn't generally heard, and if it is, it doesn't matter.
AlphaPro Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 sweet, It has some new info, a little about Scarlet Lake, nice preview. build a man a fire and he will be warm for a day, but set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Flouride Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Nice preview, thanks funroc. Hate the living, love the dead.
Hell Kitty Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 The problem is the PDF format itself, it takes a ton of resources to run and doesn't really give much of an advantage compared to doc or even txt most of the time. Maybe you don't have a use for pdf files, but that's like someone who doesn't want or need to drive claiming that cars don't really give much of an advantage compared to walking most of the time.
alanschu Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I have no issues with PDFs. They seem common enough and have the added bonus of only needing a free download to view them.
Darth Sithari Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Keep getting a "damaged file" error. Anyone have a different link? Opinions are the root of all evil.
gamerguy845 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 good read, I'm really looking forward to AP
Raithe Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Keeps the appetite whetted for the game.. Even if it was just a shiny pdf... "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
