360 Revival Thread

Playing through the awesome Lost Planet 2 demo reminded me that we used to have a 360 thread here!

What with the upcoming Fall, might to time to revive the old Obsidian 360 club. I'LL KILL YOU HURLSHOT >:(

Some select games I'm anticipating to varying degrees for this year:

September

- IL-2 Birds of Prey (first console WW2 flight sim, demo available - should be fun PvP on simulation mode)

- Raiden IV (shmup; Raiden Fighters Aces released earlier in the year was awesome)

- Halo ODST (especially looking forward to the Firefight/'Horde' mode, and of course the co-op campaign)

October

- Alpha Protolol (Gears of War clone)

- Borderlands (FPS + Diablo + 4p co-op; the features sound interesting, but I'm still unsure about the core gameplay - would like a demo)

November

- Left 4 Dead 2 LOL (I'm not kidding ;_;)

- I guess a select few around here will be looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 - I'll keep a tentative interest depending on how the Special Ops co-op mode turns out

I feel like I'm forgetting something, but maybe not.

It might be worthwhile at some point to create some global Obsidian silver account that people could add as a friend, which would help maintain a friendslist.

Assassin's Creed 2, maybe?

"Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

I went through two 360's. The third was starting to act funny. I figured I should trade it in before it went kaput, so I had to choose between buying a new 360 and a PS3. In the end, it was really just the fact that I already played the 360 for three years that made me choose the PS3. It was a great system, Xbox Live is fantastic, and despite the hardware issues I don't regret my original purchase.
