Obsidian's another unannounced title?

I've noticed just now that I wrote shocking announced game instead of unannounced.. serves me right for not checking before posting.

It's not Obsidian's and it's not even interesting. Meh.

 

Square Enix US is different from SE Japan. We are talking about an SE US project a western developer is making for them.

 

BTW, According to David Hoffman's LinkedIn, he "worked side by side Chris Taylor, on pre-production and throughout production of Supreme Commander 2".

 

and I'd be really surprised if SE US project were Obsidian's.

To be honest, I've been mislead by someone posting the Sonia IM (or whatever her name is) in a thread about the surprising and shocking/revolutionary announcement of Square Enix Japan that no-one would believe.

I lost all respect for Chris Taylor after Supreme Commander 2.

 

Yeah, he made TA, which is the best RTS ever, but honestly, what the ****.

If it's another Dungeon Siege I hope it's moddable.. maybe they can do a Ultima IX remake this time, correcting all the game's flaws?

I hope it will be Neverwinter Nights 3. I miss Forgotten Realms.

And I wish them to do Baldur's gate 3: Black Hound. May be some idea from this game/

Given all the legal tussling that D&D is going through with Wizards of the Coast and Atari, I don't think we'll see another D&D game anytime soon. Signing on to make one would certainly be an unwise business decision for Obsidz.

one thing I've learned is that you can't please everyone. Fans of RPGs though should be thrilled.
