Bos_hybrid Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Main Website Youtube version I got a say, it looks good. Despite doubts at first, I now think Abrams might of done a great job. Great music in the trailer too, for those interested its Freedom Fighters by Two steps from hell from the album Legend.
Hell Kitty Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I saw this before Watchmen, there was some nice shooty blam blam space ship action. I'll see it for that alone. The last space battle stuff I recall seeing at the cinema was in Serenity.
Gfted1 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Whoa, awesome trailor! Sylar makes for an excellent looking Spock. "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
TheHarlequin Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Who is the older man poking kirk to join star fleet? World of Darkness News http://www.wodnews.net --- "I cannot profess to be a theologian; but it seems to me that Christians who believe in a super human Satan have got themselves into a logical impasse with regard to their own religion. For either God can not prevent the mischief of Satan, in which case he is not omnipotent; or else He could do so if he wished, but will not, in which case He is not benevolent. Fortunately, being a pagan witch, I am not called upon to solve this problem." - Doreen Valiente
qt3.14159 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Damn, I'm such a geek. That trailer made me giddy... Anybody here catch that? All I understood was 'very'.
TheHarlequin Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Christopher Pike Ahh they changed his backstory then from TOS canon it seems. Interesting. Bos_hybrid Posted March 11, 2009 Author Posted March 11, 2009 Christopher Pike Ahh they changed his backstory then from TOS canon it seems. Interesting. I'm think a lot of TOS 'canon' has been changed. But it is using the timetravel plot so..... Anyone else think that desert planet is Vulcan having a bad day?
Gfted1 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 ^The one caving in on itself? I thought that was Earth's moon. "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Tale Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 This is my movie to see this year. If the third trailer had come out before Watchmen hit theatres, it would have overshadowed my Watchmen anticipation. I can not stop rewatching Trailers 2 and 3. I can't. And "James T. Kirk was a great man. But that was another life." won't stop repeating in my head. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Tale Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Seriously, I'm going to go take a nap. Wake me up when this movie is having early midnight premiers. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Maria Caliban Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Trailers 1 and 2 bored me. This hits the sweet spot. "When is this out. I can't wait to play it so I can talk at length about how bad it is." - Gorgon.
Meshugger Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Hum, i have never cared about Star Trek that much. However, this trailer is intruiging me for reasons unknown. Maybe i even will give this one a try. "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
Hell Kitty Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I don't particularly care for Star Trek, but... SPACE BATTLES!
