The main importer of PS3's in Sweden wants more money so they're basically taking the price cut and sends it into their own pockets while letting the price remain the same for consumers. Great. H Posted August 27, 2009 Share Posted August 27, 2009 Never played the 1st game because unfortunately i do not own PS3 yet, but planning to buy one with the release of Final Fantasy XIII. Has anyone here played it, and why do you liked/not liked it... Liked: 1. Simon Templeman voices the baddie. 2. Variety. There are gunfights, vehicle levels, platforming and puzzle solving. When you start getting tired of one of these elements the game moves on to another one. 3. Simon Templeman voices the baddie. 4. Writing. The plot isn't particularly original, but there are real instances of character development, and dialogue is pretty clever. A lot of stock action movie one-liners get spoofed. 5. Simon Templeman voices the baddie. 6. Visuals. It's a very green game, which is a nice break from very brown games that dominate the market. 7. Simon Templeman voices the baddie. Didn't like: 1. H Posted August 27, 2009 Share Posted August 27, 2009 What sort of gameplay is closest to it? a) Crash Bandicoot b) Lara Croft c) Prince of Persia (the newest games from series) I love Crash Bandicoot, but i realy never like Lara Croft games, and with price of persia i have mixed feelings Out of these three, Uncharted has the most in common with Tomb Raider. It is, however, more combat heavy, and there's no auto targeting. You have to aim manually using the right stick. Oh, and it has a Gears-like cover system. About the only thing Uncharted shares with the latest Prince of Persia is Nolan North who voices both Nathan Drake, the lead of Uncharted, and the prince. I rather fork out that money for a new graphics card next year and play Mafia 2, Rage and Crysis 2 supasmooth! Rain makes everything better.
