But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. Tale Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Please please please please please let me have made the list. I've tried so hard this year. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
jaguars4ever Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Actually, you did. And you're #9! Also: Lou ****ing Dobbs should have been more hated. WTF?
Sand Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 A good list and good read. Thanks for the link! thepixiesrock Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 To quote an old friend; "Meh" Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
Dark_Raven Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 What an awesome list. Britney Spears should be number one. Little skank. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
jaguars4ever Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Britney Spears should be number one. Little skank. That's because she's our American version of what they call "chavettes" in the UK.
Arkan Posted December 27, 2007 Author Posted December 27, 2007 Britney Spears should be number one. Little skank. That's because she's our American version of what they call "chavettes" in the UK. She's a car? "Of course the people don't want war. jaguars4ever Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 (edited) Britney Spears should be number one. Little skank. That's because she's our American version of what they call "chavettes" in the UK. She's a car? Not quite (although if she was any kind of vehicle, it would probably be a trailer). A chavette is the dreaded yet equally intolerable female counterpart of a chav. Edited December 27, 2007 by jaguars4ever
Walsingham Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 A bit politically one dimensional, but pretty good. I particularly liked number 9. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
Blarghagh Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 I liked number 9 because it assumed I was an american who gave a crap about all those subjects.
Walsingham Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 I'd like to add: Lazy Media Dandies: Charges - Making a living by traducing serious debate to the level of schoolyard insults. Masters of the one line bon mot. Believing that reading a weekend supplement article on a foreign country written by another media dandy qualifies you to criticise it.Vilifying self-appointed moral crusaders in parallel with a moral crusade against poorly organised dinner parties. Telling us we should care more about the economy than celebrities when they neither care about nor understand the economy. Writing witty articles about fire while Rome burns. Being paid for all the above. Evidence: Coverage of the Darfur issue. Sentence: A solid day's proper work. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
Dark_Raven Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 I guess Bush should be number 1, with Britney Spears not far behind. Who ever voted for the clown into office should have their voting priveledges taken away. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Nick_i_am Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 As long as you voted against him you can sleep at night. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Krookie Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 As long as you vote against Hilary Clinton you can sleep at night.
Dark_Raven Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Clinton FTW. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
jaguars4ever Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Why are our presidential candidates always such a joke?
Dark_Raven Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Because most of them are ex-lawyers? Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Walsingham Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 As long as you voted you can sleep at night. I only get really annoyed at people who think not voting is a protest. It's not an economic boycott, you dimlows! "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
Blarghagh Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Hey, I just noticed something... Where's Jack Thompson?
jaguars4ever Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Hey, I just noticed something... Where's Jack Thompson? The thing is, society has a very dim view of us gamers in the first place. So his game hating probably somehow translates into being sensible by the d00fus masses. Or something.
Dark_Raven Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 As long as you voted you can sleep at night. I only get really annoyed at people who think not voting is a protest. It's not an economic boycott, you dimlows! Why? Our wonderful system makes it so there is only two primary candidates. Usually both are dumbasses like last election. Why cast the vote when you don't like either one? Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Nick_i_am Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Yeah, why waste your vote on a third party candidate that you actually like? It's madness. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Blarghagh Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Hey, I just noticed something... Where's Jack Thompson? The thing is, society has a very dim view of us gamers in the first place. So his game hating probably somehow translates into being sensible by the d00fus masses. Or something. What about incessent badgering, threatening and intimidation, sueing people for making donations to charities, and accusations of conspiracy against him? This may be related to the game controversies, but not directly. For his none-gaming crimes, how about filing police reports accusing people of battery for touching him? Attacking music artist's first amendment rights? Claiming to be the real world's equivelant to BATMAN? Promoting anti-Muslim propaganda? Trying to declare the Florida Bar Association unconstitutional the moment they decide to look into his matters? Verbally assaulting other attorneys as well as judges, claiming such wonderful things as "they distribute porn to kids"? Sueing SOUTH PARK, convincing some poor kid's parents that he accidentally killed himself because he tried to act like Kenny? This guy is the slime of the earth for more than just gamers, you know.
