Xard Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 (edited) ( edit: Nevermind, it was the last year ) I'm listening Roger Waters Pros and Cons of Hitch hiking which is absolute suckage and donkey bollocks. (Same with Radio K.A.O.S. Pretentious crap. ) However his Pink Floyd stuff (especially The Final Cut which is his first "unofficial" solo album) and Amused to Death kicks ass. Oh, and he is one of the best lyricists ever. Still, this CD is horrible. Only good thing is the cover. Edited July 9, 2007 by Xard How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)

Guest The Architect Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 (edited) Since I don't listen to music on the computer, technically I can't post anything on-topic in these threads, since with me, on the computer = not currently listening to any music, and I don't listen to the radio while I'm on the computer. Obviously this is one of these things I could've just kept to my self, but I haven't, so yeah. Edited July 10, 2007 by The Architect

Darth Drabek Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Tom Waits - Shore Leave That's the one where he shoots billiards with a midget 'til the rain stops, right? Man, I'll never forget driving across Illinois for a job interview. I was a few miles from the Iowa border when it started feeling like the drive had turned into a surreal hallucination. I really shouldn't have been listening to Swordfishtrombones in that state of mind, but I was. And I had just got the album, too, so I wasn't familiar with all its eccentricities, if you know what I mean. The Hold Steady - How a Resurrection Really Feels the priest just kinda laughed, the deacon caught a draft she crashed into the easter mass with her hair done up in broken glass she was limping left on broken heels when she said "father, can i tell your congregation how a resurrection really feels?" baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs

I've actually never seen the movie, but I have heard this guy's Bowie covers from the soundtrack, as a friend turned me on to them. I think I have "Life on Mars?" and "Rebel, Rebel." Good stuff.
