Kor Qel Droma Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Dead Again. I still love this movie. excellent choice LC, I'm another fan of that as well can I have another cigarette? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Sand Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Red Sonja. Oh wow yeah! The "Catwoman" of medieval fantasy! Arnies best work. R00fles! I thought that was... Jingle all the Way! Gfted1 Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 The Departed Good movie. The very last scene threw me though. Was Mark Whalberg's character a good cop, a bad cop or just avenging the death of his boss? "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
astr0creep Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 The Departed Good movie. The very last scene threw me though. Was Mark Whalberg's character a good cop, a bad cop or just avenging the death of his boss? All of the above methinks. "The Three Stages of Labor" My wife is pregnant with our first child and we began pre-natal classes last night. Best movie ever. Drama, comedy, some action and plenty gory. 10/10 http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
theslug Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Saw 300. Was surprisingly pretty good. I absolutely hate Hollywood action flicks but 300 was well done. I really liked the artistic style of the film and the action wasn't half bad. I think the key to really liking this film is not caring/knowing about all the hoopla history and propaganda behind it and just take it as it is and don't be a analytic scum bag. Also for the Departed I'm pretty sure he kills damon because the package leo gave to the girl was ment to be sent to him once he died, which held info on damon and Mark Whalberg would get true street justice to murder him hardcore donut dropping style and I think he was honestly a good cop just "bad" becuase he'd go as far to do something illegal to get stuff done, and of course because he's avenging his colleague. There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.
Sand Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 (edited) I just got done watching Ghost in the Shell, both seasons of Stand Alone Complex, and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. Kor Qel Droma Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Last Action Hero with Arnie. Ouch . That's all I have to say. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

theslug Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I just got done watching Ghost in the Shell, both seasons of Stand Alone Complex, and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. The second season is infinitely better than the first in my opinion. I just wish they wouldn't have given her such horrible clothes to wear every episode. Musopticon? Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Actually, that was what initially turned me off the series. Skimpy for the sake of skimpy. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. Sand Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Well, later on she wears pants and a combat armor. At least she isn't running around naked. Hmmm... Musopticon? Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Note the "initially" Burst Angel, now that's skimpy. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. theslug Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 (edited) Just watched Babel. I was a little bored in the first half of the movie so I went with my friend to guitar center but once I came back and started watching it picked up really quickly. I thought this was a pretty good film. A little slow but it has an excellent soundtrack and everyones stories coming together made for a nice plot. It would of been nice though if they let you know if Ahmed lives and what was on the Japanese girl's note. astr0creep Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Borat. It was hilarious all the way until he loses the bear and his producer. After that it's boring. Wierd. http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
Musopticon? Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Hagaren the Movie Nice final to the story. I do like the manga plot more, mostly because they haven't yet killed everyone, but the movie was a fitting ending. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Darth Drabek Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Hey, its better than his first movie... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065832/ I own Hercules in New York on DVD, the version with Arnold's original non-dubbed vocal track. It's a masterpiece. Also, Commando is the quintessential Arnold movie. It's also the perfect action film. baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs
Sand Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Commando is good but prefer Predator, though Commando has very good one liners. My favorite is "I let him go." *SPLAT!* Murphy's Law of Computer Gaming: The listed minimum specifications written on the box by the publisher are not the minimum specifications of the game set by the developer. @\NightandtheShape/@ - "Because you're a bizzare strange deranged human?" Dark_Raven Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Predator is awesome. Commando was good to. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Kor Qel Droma Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Honestly, some of Arnie's flicks haven't aged well. I watch Total Recall when I need a laugh, and the Running Man just doesn't do anything for me. But as much as I hate to agree with Gabs, Commando and Predator are just about tops for me. Nonwithstanding Pumping Iron, of course. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Tel Aviv Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Commando! With Freddie Mercury as Bennett! Love the introduction, a moist Schwarzenegger manhandling plastic logs. That film is so homoerotic.
Musopticon? Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 ^Yes, it is. I saw Punisher from about halfway. It was...bad, but watchable. I particulary liked the torture scenes thanks to being so ridiculous. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food.
