Gecon
Somehow I miss a romance in KotoR2 ? Is there really none ??? Oh, and otherwise the characters are very fine so far, even if I wonder how I get Handmaiden to become a Jedi ... she is already a LS Mastery just like me, and this white hair is cool, I wished she would be a real girl (w00t) and not just a bunch of polygons. :'( :"> "
LadyCrimson
There's no romance in Kotor2 beyond a few quipped remarks and cutscenes - for example, if you're a female Exile Atton has a few possible cutscenes showing him expressing interest in the Exile to bao-dur and behaving jealous of Disciple. Supposedly Handmaiden and Visas had similar jealous potential plotline, but what little there was, was cut out in both cases. Some will be restored when the TSL Restoration Project is finished. You can read about that long on-going mod project here. “Things are as they are. LadyCrimson
You need Handmaiden for those, right? I've still never used Handmaiden, except briefly using a save of hubby's, once. “Things are as they are. Deadly_Nightshade
Yes, but I always play a modded game so I don't have to use the Disciple.... "Geez. elzaban
There's a bit of romantic conversation with Handmaiden and Visas, but that's about it. I have no idea if there's anything of the sort of Atton left in the game, and Disciple's too much of a gentleman to talk about romance, sadly. At least KOTOR I had a kiss scene or two (if I recall correctly), which shouldn't be too much to ask for. It's not like there aren't times where a kiss could easily be inserted (Visas Marr before stepping onto the bridge of the Ravager, Handmaiden after you save her on Telos). Unfortunately, Atton and Disciple still get the short end of the stick in that regard, as the best place for it with Atton would be in cut content, and there really is no good place for Disciple. Dark_Raven
What romances? They're nothing more than get to know you type of dialogues. If you want a game with romances load up BG2. Lord Kun
The kiss in Kotor1 wasn't even shown, so whats the point in having all this mushy stuff if its not even their... Gecon
Teh, and here I thought they had improved the party banter and romances in KotOR2 ... <_< Oh well. Yeah I luv that conversion project :D sadly it will take even more time until its localized for german. But then it'll make a much cooler game. ^_^ Maybe I'll buy the english version instead anyway, because the german version, pfft, they have SUCH BAD SPEAKERS ! In KotOR1 it was the other way round, the english speakers where disappointing there. The translations are horrible in both versions. Teh, but my Handmaiden is a Jedi now ! YAY ! :joy: And both Handmaiden and Vistas reached LS Mastery in like no time, too. Only Kreia doesn't move a single bit.
vaxen83
Being dead serious, characters in K2 could still be developed further. Dialogue lines are much shorter in second game and barely last for more than a few seconds before next line for conversation is shown. The Handmaiden story was basically shorter than expected. Almost same for one of female masters who is found dead on Korriban (Or so I think). Deep from within... Victims live a life of fantasy. Some see salvation as an act of God, a few look within for it. 朱宣澧

Purgatorio
I thought it was more than a kiss, because it makes her fall more.... and she never returns to the light at the end if my Revan and her press their slimy mucus covered lips together...... Guest The Architect
No, I don't think it was anything more than a kiss, because Bastila's hair isn't messed up afterwards, Revan and Bastila are clothed as they were before, they are standing in about the same positions as before and it only blacks out for about a second. If it was anything other than a kiss, then Revan must be the absolute worst lover ever, since she doesn't want to talk about it. Besides, the impression I got from the dialogue was that they just kissed. I doubt they had sex, because it is a Star Wars game after all, and even though they never showed anything, I still don't think they would do that. The impression I got from the dialogue after the kiss was that it was just that, a kiss, as Bastila infers that it was just something 'little' that happened. Do you seriously think that (considering Bastila's character) she would let the 'encounter' with male Revan go anything beyond a kiss? I doubt it. Also, what was stopping one of the other party members from walking in on them? You'd think that (since there's no door to close or anything in that section to 'hide what is going on') plus the fact you'd assume that they'd make a certain level of noise, they'd be caught in the act, but they weren't. Why? Because I'd say it was just a kiss, nothing more. Edited November 23, 2006 by The Architect
Gecon
They DO have Sex in Star Wars. Otherwise Luke and Leia Skywalker wouldn't exist, would they ? They do have sex like they do kill people ... you never actually SEE someone dying. Star Wars is a bit a fairy tale, after all.

They do have sex like they do kill people ... you never actually SEE someone dying. Star Wars is a bit a fairy tale, after all. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never said that Star Wars characters never have sex in Star Wars did I? This is a game we are talking about though. Besides, when Anakin and Padme 'got it on', it didn't happen in any of the prequel movies. We never saw it. As I've said, I highly doubt that Revan and Bastila 'got it on', for reasons I've already mentioned. KotOR is just a light weight, sci-fi kids game. They never even hinted at sex, and rightly so, since it's only Star Wars. Sex in Star Wars happens 'behind the scenes'. Even if you assume that Revan and Bastila 'got it on' in KotOR and even though we never see it, technically, if they did 'get it on', it still would have happened in the game. What I'm trying to say is, sex doesn't happen during the story/movie. It happens 'in between' the story-archs, movies or whatever. Understand what I'm getting at? Gecon
I'm not in the group of people who claim that Revan and Bastila had sex in that scene. I'm in the group of people that claim that WE DON'T KNOW.
Purgatorio
I am of the group that doesn't care. How likely is a family name lasting 4000 years anyway? Bastila Skywalker indeed. S.A.S.I.S.P.G.M.D.G.S.M.B.
Avariel
Wait, kiss scene??? What kiss scene? I play a female Revan! Damn it if the female gamers aren't getting totally jipped AGAIN!!!! Where the hell is OUR kiss scene? We just get some smarmy proclomation of love on a beach that takes two seconds, and no physical contact whatsoever? I'm starting to believe that game developers hate women. Although, if Carth's voice was an actual physical entity all by itself, I think there would definately be some clubbing-over-head-dragging-to-my-bedchambers going on. Kudos to THAT voice actor
Guest The Architect
I am of the group that doesn't care. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Same. All I wanted to point out was my opinion why I don't think there was anything more than a kiss between Revan and Bastila. But in the end, does it matter if there was or wasn't? Oh, and KotoR1 already had rather crappy romances, too. BG was MUCH better in this respect.
