Darque Posted December 22, 2006 Author Posted December 22, 2006 Awesome. Now I just have to track down HL2 If I can play bloodlines, I can play it, right?
Pop Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Awesome. Now I just have to track down HL2 If I can play bloodlines, I can play it, right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If one plays well, chances are the other probably will, yes. I don't know how much more strain the more advanced physics engine puts on. Might require more RAM to play well. But visually, you're set. Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
Bokishi Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 It's less demanding than Bloodlines. It uses a constantly updated and optimized version of the source engine, rather than the POS beta source engine that Bloodlines uses. Current 3DMark

Slowtrain Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Yours truly making newspaper headlines! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Arcanum is an awesome game. SO close to greatness. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.
Dark_Raven Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Arcanum was a great game by a great company. ^_^ Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

Tale Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Guess which game LOL Garry's Mod "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
angshuman Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Guess which game LOL <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Am I seeing a Depth Of Field effect here?
Wistrik Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Guess which game LOL <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yuck, I prefer crisp, clear rendering. I get enough motion blur through my eyes, so I don't need the game doing it for me. As for textures, have you tried the Cinematic Mod? (Formerly the hi-res texture pack.) It ramps up texture quality on just about everything for folks with hi-res capabilities (2536x1600 and so on).
Slowtrain Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I'm playing a new game of Oblivion and doing the Knights of the Nine faction quest. So far it is the best of the faction quests. It starts with the desecrated Chapel of Dibella in Anvil and then a meeting with a mad Prophet. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. Hell Kitty Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 Call of Juarez. I'm lovin' the depth of field effect when zoomed in.
Jorian Drake Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 Heavily modded Europa Universalis 2, most isn't fully finished yet, but here is a fantasy gaelic flag I made for a Duke:
