Darth Drabek
Ah, I knew you'd remind me of more bands from the great North. Don't you guys have some sort of patriotic radio requirements? I think I remember reading that some percentage of Canadian DJs playlists had to be composed of Canadian artists. Darth Drabek
Okay, so I was listening to this DJ who calls himself "Dr. Metal" Friday afternoon on the way home from work and I heard the most ridiculous song from a band called Absolute Steel. I guess they're Norwegian, so maybe some of you fellas have heard them. The song was "Beer Run," and it was so over-the-top I thought of a harder-rocking Motley Crue. Anyway, here's the album cover: And the track listing: 1. High Heels and Fishnet Stockings 2. Beer Run 3. Kick 4. Rough Love (Tender Heart) 5. Deeper 6. Juicy Lucy 7. Too Slow Above 8. Deliverance 9. Opus Suite baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs
Musopticon?
I've never heard of them, but I can guess the genre. :D Michiru Ochima - Kelas(Let's Dance) with Mockba International Symphony Orchestra Breathtaking. Edit: Rune OST - Approaching Ragnarok Ok, the most epic soundtrack ever. I am having tears in my eyes and being giddy at the same time. Goosebumbs is a stupid apellation for the cataclysmic feelings running down my spine and vertebrae. Ragnar's Theme is quite possibly the best game tune ever. I think I remember reading that some percentage of Canadian DJs playlists had to be composed of Canadian artists. You're right about that, Matt. Up north we have what's known as the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission. It's the governing body for anything that gets broadcast over Canadian airwaves. Last I checked, the percentage was about 35% on homegrown content. Another Canadian band Thrush Hermit - From The Back Of The Film Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie. Winterwolf
Currently listening the new Blind Guardian album. Can`t decide if I like it or not. This new style is too alienating. The refrain of Dead Sound of Misery sounds like HIM. Especially this part: The blood of sirens On my hands I can't wash away Still it pours And stains our land In bitterness So cruel Will ages go by Dead sound of misery Come share our sorrows Be one with the Hydra The lyrics are still Hansi`s LCD trips but the singing...oh my. Edited October 31, 2006 by Winterwolf Enough with the dancing clown.
