SteveThaiBinh
I'm pleased, by the way, that Jade Empire is coming to PC, even though as I said I'll probably wait before getting it. When this was announced as a console-only game by Bioware, it first occured to me that I might one day need to get a console. After all, there are not that many decent RPGs out there, or companies producing them, and so far they've mostly been available on the PC. If half of them were to switch to a console format, then I'd be forced to follow them. Happily, with both Fable and Jade Empire on the PC, I shall remain a next-gen free zone for the forseeable future. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." LadyCrimson
Outside of the control changes; I don't think you should expect any major changes to the game. BIO is only overseeing the port not actually doing it themselves. I agree, I don't think it'll be anything major. But sometimes even small changes can alter something fairly noticably. Most likely tho, it'll just be a new skin slapped on a monster or two... Since I like (some) action-RPG's, I'm still looking forward to being able to see it myself...and also, what SteveThaiBinh said. “Things are as they are. For me it would be moral(how good and evil represented), game world(world and story) and the effects of your choices. In first two Jade Empire fails horribly. Closed fist/open palm choices are made in basic kindergarden level. World of Jade Empire fails in attemp of orginality(if something like that was ever even attemped). Volourn
"Problem is what qualifies as deep for you. For me it would be moral(how good and evil represented)," Morality is re[resented better than pretty much every CRPG esxcept possibly PST, and the Fallouts. " game world(world and story)" The game worlds are awesome. " and the effects of your choices." The game world does effect your choices, and your chocies effect the game world. A LOT. I doubt any list of any game - let alone CRPGs - that do these thinsg better than JE are very, very, very small including most Obsidian/BIS/Troika/BIO CRPGs. If I hadn't seen/played/heard it it's ireelvant to my assessment. And, it doens't matter if the sourc eof the mateiral is China, or Kanada. Still changes the fact that JE m, while it may not be super original, is definitely more original than most other CRPGs.
