The mage guild provides teleportation services, jump to some of the other guilds and check their wares.

 

If worst comes to worst, I think the mushrooms are in the swamp you started in... so take the bug back to the starting village.

 

As for making magic items... you need...

 

Soul Bind (spell)

Soul Gems (item)

Item to enchant (item)

Spell to put into item to enchant (spell)

The players guide is worthless in the regard of things like this, it's only good for maps and quests. The manual is equally worthless. I feel like a bloody Noob.

Best thing is not to rely on the Soul Spell but enchant one of your weapons with the Soul Trap spell...

 

Now you just need to have those stones...

On the brightside once you know where they are it dosnt take long to find them again.

I did save prior to picking them up. I got that quest done and the sabatage quest of another mage now I have to go find some flowers.

Ahhh, Morrowind. I remember how it used to take me about two weeks just to finish a guild questline in that game. It might of gotten tedious sometimes, but mostly when you got to the action, it was nice. In Oblivion on the other hand, I can finish all the guilds, the main quest, and a slew of other quests in about two weeks. No joke. All Morrowind needed in my opinion was speedier travel and more clear cut directions, and it would of been ten times better.

Morrowind, and all it's expansions, were ported to the Xbox. Unless you're talking about Oblivion being ported to the Xbox?

Be prepared for loading times sooooo long, that by the time you finish everything, you'll be able to buy a computer that can run Oblivion for 50$. :D Seriously, the loading times on the Xbox are atrocious.

 

Also, you can get Morrowind and it's expansions in the Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition.

I re-bought the game (I sold it after I bought when it first came out). GOTY edition is/was on clearance at Target for $13, I couldn't say no!

There is a woman walking around between Balmora and Hla Oad I think. She will ask you to escort her to another swampy town on the western seaboard(Gnaar Mok I believe). In exchange for your help(or if you kill her but she is very tuff at low levels), you will receive the world famous Boots of Blinding Speed.

 

These babies will give you constant +25 speed(not sure about that number but it's a frakkin' lot) AND constant 100% blind. So you can't see where you're going.

If you cast a 100% Resist Magic spell(1-5 seconds duration is enough) and equip the boots while the spell is active, you will resist the blinding effect but will still have the fantastic advantage of the boots, which will be lost if you unequip them OR if they get damaged to 0% durability.

 

Just go on a Morrowind forum and search for Boots, Blinding and Speed and you should find it all.
