I had this huge urge to see it last night. One of my favorite movies.

 

I wonder why they don't make those sword and sorcery movies anymore.

Saw X3. Everyone is right.

8 Mile - Good movie. It didn't end where I thought it would. Nice 'love story' it did not have. LOL :D

 

Stir of Echoes - Kinda a rip off of that Bruce Willis flick; but entertaining nontheless. Great acting covers up the fact that the story itself isn't really new.

X3 I give it a 6 on a scale of 10.

I think it is entirely possible that all the damage Jean Grey did as Phoenix may very well have been (conveniently partially) reversed with her death.

X3: Not being knowledgeable of the comics and barely remembering the 90's cartoon I think I was able to enjoy it more than most here. I found the fights and conflict situations to be resolved too quickly(Iceman vs. Pyro most of all) and Wolverine, although extra cool, is not the only X-Man. The Third should've been more about Charles X and Magneto, not about everyone looking at Jean and simply waiting for her to explode... And where was Nightcrawler?

I give it a 7/10 and X2 was better. I'll have to see it again to compare it with X1.

 

Aeon Flux: Really, not as bad as everyone said. Many concepts are very interesting, especially the technologies which I thought were well utilized. 6/10.

Actually, I think the movie is primarily based on the 30 minute episodes developed for MTV later on. (95?)

 

The original six were roughly five minutes long.

Polanski's Oliver Twist. Not bad.

The Elegant universe DVD, documentary with Host Brian Greene. Inspired by his book elegant Universe. I didn't read ththat book but the Fabric of the cosmos was great.

What's with the stupid over the top gore? Reminds me of some cheap slasher movie. I had to keep myself from laughing at how stupid it was.
