Surreptishus Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 The Grizzly Man. Werner Herzog's narration is soothing because he ahs a wonderful voice. The coroner and Treadwell's feamle friend that had the death tape just looked like they were acting.
Musopticon? Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Vanilla Sky It tried to be real mind****, but meh. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
jedidotflow Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 X-men :The lasr stand Still reeling from its suckiness. Almost as bad as Jake Lloyd as Anakin.
metadigital Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Walk the Line. Joaquin Phoenix was brilliant. Reece Witherspoon was better. The fact that they both sang and were very close to the legendary voices of Johnny and June. Highly recommended. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
Azure79 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Conan the Barbarian. I had this huge urge to see it last night. One of my favorite movies. I wonder why they don't make those sword and sorcery movies anymore. Well except for LoTR maybe.

Volourn Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 8 Mile - Good movie. It didn't end where I thought it would. Nice 'love story' it did not have. LOL :D Stir of Echoes - Kinda a rip off of that Bruce Willis flick; but entertaining nontheless. Great acting covers up the fact that the story itself isn't really new. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Dark_Raven Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 X3 I give it a 6 on a scale of 10. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
jaguars4ever Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 No Gambit = teh sux0rz!1 <_< That and a multitude of other factors. But it was still very entertaining and fun. But in a sucky sort of way.
Dark_Raven Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 No Gambit and that is good. He would have had a brief 5 minutes of fame. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

metadigital Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I think it is entirely possible that all the damage Jean Grey did as Phoenix may very well have been (conveniently partially) reversed with her death. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
astr0creep Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 (edited) X3: Not being knowledgeable of the comics and barely remembering the 90's cartoon I think I was able to enjoy it more than most here. I found the fights and conflict situations to be resolved too quickly(Iceman vs. Pyro most of all) and Wolverine, although extra cool, is not the only X-Man. The Third should've been more about Charles X and Magneto, not about everyone looking at Jean and simply waiting for her to explode... And where was Nightcrawler? I give it a 7/10 and X2 was better. I'll have to see it again to compare it with X1. Aeon Flux: Really, not as bad as everyone said. Many concepts are very interesting, especially the technologies which I thought were well utilized. 6/10. Edited May 28, 2006 by astr0creep http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/

Baley Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 (edited) Actually, I think the movie is primarily based on the 30 minute episodes developed for MTV later on. (95?) The original six were roughly five minutes long. Not a nerd. Shut Up. Edited May 28, 2006 by Baley

Dark_Raven Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Bloodrayne. Where's the plot? What's with the stupid over the top gore? Reminds me of some cheap slasher movie. I had to keep myself from laughing at how stupid it was. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
