with all the marvel movies out and the returns of bats and supa, which comic based movie (all time) did you enjoy the most?

Spawn for me, no pub but i thought it was great.

Darkman.

Yes, I know it isn't based on aa single specific actual comic. It's still the best comic-feel film out there.

Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

The X-men series so far. It saddens me that Singer is not directing the third one. I would hate to see the franchise go down hill.

Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

The first two posters are both wrong really wrong!!

Batman begins or sin city, hands down. The X mens are up there.

Silence!

...Xmen was decent. The first one at least, never saw the others. Liked the first Batman & the most recent Batman but they didn't feel like comics to me. Course I grew up reading Richie Rich... :("

Garfield could be considered a comic right? In that casw Garfield the movie was better than Darkman. :(

Blasphemy. Rami is God.

Spiderman 2, but there are quite a few I haven't seen, as I don't go out of my way to see comic-based movies.

I thought number two was pretty downhill: too many characters, not enough point. The first was fun, though. :(

The problem with the series like the X-men is too many characters and not enough character development. It's a movie of two hours or less so something is going to get cut and that is usually character development.

I did not know that Raimi directed Darkman. That must have negatively impacted his cool cult status with the Evil Deads, luckily he was able to bounce back with the Spidermans.

Well, duh! Has there been a better, more accurate comic adaption than "Sin City" ?

Pokemon the movie. :(

That's an adaptation of a toy, not a comic.

A good Vampirella film would be good.

Doesn't Pokemon has its own comic series?

Anyhoo, X-men and Spiderman movies are great blockbusters, but I find Sin City or Batman Begins where the story and characters are strongly emphasized instead of special effects more enjoyable films.

Sin city was one giant special effect. It was shot entirely in green screen.

Funny...I liked SinCity when I watched it, but I barely remember it now, didn't seem to stay impressed on my brain. I should re-watch it sometime.

Yes, and a bad Vampirella film would be bad.

Superman or the REAL Batman with Micheal Keaton.

The new one was good; but definitely overrated.

Keaton with Burton back in control of the Batman movies would be the best move Time Warner could make.

i liked the first and last batmans, but i'll still take the first over the last one.

As far as sin city i wasn't that into it, i never read the comic so i had no background but the monologues were just stupid.

I think the only comic to movie adaptations I enjoyed, both as entertaining films on their own and as satisfying adaptations of the original source, were the Batman movies directed by Burton (Batman and Batman Returns) and Kevin Nolan (Batman Begins), and Robert Rodriguez's adaptation of Sin City.

I've heard good things about Road to Perdition, A History of Violence and Hellboy but unfortunately have not seen the movies yet.

Marvel aren't the only ones making comics and movies you know.

I vote Mystery Men.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
