SteveThaiBinh
Well, at least it stops the Koreans taking over the world. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or gives them lots of practice? My Vietnamese friends were also Starcraft crazy, though their attempt to get me to play against them had comically brief results. I can't think of a game more likely to be hugely profitable for the publisher, so I'm rather surprised it's not in development already. Darque
nevermind.... if no body will take me serious than stop talking. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would love some info on Starcraft 2. Sadly I don't think it will ever be created <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just like the legendary sequel to Duke Nukem? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If Ghost is ever released there might be hope... but I don't expect it to be released. Atreides
Oh, it'll be made...hell they'd break the million mark for sure, or perhaps two...maybe 3. Who wouldn't want to cash in on that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It could be that they're not sure how to make it as awesome (storywise) as the first. They've pulled most of Starcraft's tricks in Warcraft 3 etc but people pretty much agree War3's campaign was uninspiring. Spreading beauty with my katana. Dyan
Starcraft 2 will never happen. HK47: Commentary: It is not possible to destroy the master. It is suggested that you run while my blasters warm, meatbags. Bastila to Revan: You are easily the vainest, most arrogant man I have ever met! Canderous to Bastila: Insults? Maybe if your master had trained your lightsaber to be as quick as your tongue you could have escaped those Vulkars, you spoiled little Jedi princess! Pope
Don't be morons. Blizzard are probably working on StarCraft 2 as we speak. In fact, I expect it to be announced after WoW's expansion and SC: Ghost are released. Saying there won't be a sequel might be the dumbest thing I've ever heard in the gaming industry. karka
Starcraft 2 will be a first person RPG made by Bethesda <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you kidding? It's going to be a Sims expansion pack from EA. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No! It will be devellopped by Bethesda and they will make it as a followup to Fallout 3, which will be a followup to Elder Scrolls 4, only with pirates. Cuz EVERYBODY loves pirates! In Starcraft 2 you take control of Master Sarge, a Space Marine Cyborg (father was Marine, mother Cyborg) and you will have to use magic in order to defeat jedi Deathtroopers which are under the control of a space bounty hunter that is actually your sister. Special appearance from the cast of Friends, music by Avril Lavigne and Howard Shore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :D :D :D :D :D :D :D I like it...

(No laughs, I was serious.) Personally, I thought WC3's campaign was pretty decent, but since it's another world and I never really found that series to be too interesting, I can't really use it to judge SC2's potential storywise. I had thought that some of nature's journeymen had made men and not made them well, for they imitated humanity so abominably. - Book of Counted Sorrows 'Cause I won't know the man that kills me and I don't know these men I kill but we all wind up on the same side 'cause ain't none of us doin' god's will. - Everlast
Hurlshort
Don't forget that there was a rather long gap between Warcraft II and III, and a pretty long gap between Diablo I and II. Blizzard takes their time on these games. Also, the original Starcraft is still being played heavily, so they probably don't want to kill that yet. Everyone and their mother has the game already, and Battle.net is free, so it's not like they earn much on it anymore.
Judge Hades
They will most likely kill it when they have a Starcraft game of similar capabilities to replace it. What they should do make a Starcraft 2 with all the great graphical upgrades, put the Starcraft 1 storyline in it, put in a continuing story, add two new races to the mix, and a full tools system

It's true that Blizzard tends to take time in releasing their titles...but damn it, it's been 8 or 9 years now. News of some kind would be appreciated...*hint hint*. And why, in the name of all things, is Starcraft: Ghost a console only title? That seems to directly defy sense.
