If you do it as LaCroix wants (quietly, in secrecy, without blood and without being seen), he gives you the apartment. Else, you have to go to Santa Monica and back... Though you have to have done most of Chinatown, and even then the damn apartment's in the recesses of the Downtown sewers where no reasonable player would ever even think to look at that point. Gary doesn't tell you anything about where it is. It's a totally worthless aparment; you have no need of it. Looks cool though, in a gutter, bootleg kind of way.
