Blood boil. It's cool. They raise up in the air and explode in bloody bits. Coolness.

No limb loss, the blood looks poor but the stealth kill is fun especially the little sound that is played.

yes the blood magic but that is only when its maxed out. I've also heard its not so great against enemies towards the latter part of the game.

Using the console to get the katana early seems a bit to defeat the purpose of a crpg. Much like making a beeline to get the APA in Fallout2. Pretty weird way of enjoying a game.

With that said, after you have played though it 2 or 3 times normally sometimes you just want to have fun. Hence what I did.

I think I preferred the Dominance skill over the Dementation skill in combat.

 

But Dementation was great in dialogue.

Nope, disciplines dont affect dialogues. Kinda pointless since ther are three different manipulative convo skills already available - Intimidation Persuasion and Seduction.

It's probably not using the discipline itself, but Ventrue can use Domination in dialogue, and Malkavians can use Dementation.

Unless you don't have the enough points in them. I find that they tend to be much more reliable too, as just because you see that Intimidation Dialogue option, doesn't mean it is going to work.

 

Plus the Dementation one in particular is very amusing.

The malkavs are indeed fun. If Troika's first two games were like Bloodlines they would probably still be in business.

I enjoyed Arcanum, even if my first playthrough ended in disaster because I tried being a generalist.

Are there even different weapon speeds? I timed the Katana and the Bush Hook and they were identical. Never liked the axe though, so I didn't time that one (it's so... crude)
